22.01.2022 Ceiling height plays a massive role in how the facade can turn out. This beauty has stuck with the traditional pitching level for the style, which is definitely going to give it so much wow factor, however 3.6m ceilings aren’t the most energy efficient due to the volume they add to the room and therefore more space to heat and cool. So our solution here, we have dropped the bottom chord of the truss so that we get the best of both worlds - traditional look and better energy efficiency

21.01.2022 In light of International Women’s Day coming up on Sunday the 8th of March, we want to take this time to introduce you to our co-directors: Susan Marriott and Alyson Myers. Susan has been in the building design business for upwards of 30 years now, and has been recognised as the first female member of the BDAV (now known as Design Matters). Alyson followed in her mums footsteps, and is coming up on 10 years in the industry, also making her and Susan the first Mother-Daughter ...team in the BDAV. Today, and everyday, we are proud of what Susan and Alyson have both been able to achieve. They have both worked tirelessly to reach their goals - both in business and in their personal life. They have poured their time into work, whilst also raising their families. They understand the struggle of maintaining a work life balance and making time for what is important. We are extremely thankful here at Quality Home Design to work for such inspiring women and to know that they are making a positive difference in the lives of so many. See more

08.01.2022 The end of the year is fast approaching and as of tomorrow we will be closing for the Christmas and New Year break. We want to take this time to reflect on what has been an amazing and rewarding year, and thank all of our clients - past, present and future - for all their continual support and hope that we can keep providing you with the great service we are known for in 2020. We’ll see you on January 13th when we re-open for the year!

07.01.2022 Kitchen goals absolutely love our clients styling and color selection. The existing had a separate meals area, then a combined kitchen and living with very limited bench and storage space. The result of knocking down one wall only, was a beautiful open plan kitchen, meals and living with the bonus of a walk in linen and a walk in pantry! Storage dreams now! And we planned the layout around all existing windows so that we minimized the work needing to be done

07.01.2022 We understand that by now you are all aware of the effects COVID-19 is having on the world. At Quality Home Design it is still business as usual, however we will be practicing social distancing. While the World Health Organisation isn’t recommending isolation, we are going to be overly cautious due to staff members/family being immunocompromised. Moving forward all appointments will be held over the phone or via Skype. We appreciate your patience and understanding in such times.

04.01.2022 Like many other small businesses in the area, we are deeply saddened by the situation we are currently finding ourselves in. Following on from the statement released from Premier Dan Andrews this afternoon, we will effectively be closing our doors and working from home from here on out. This may mean that our phones may be harder to get through too as only one person will be manning them, but keep trying and we will get on to you when we can. We also ask that our clients plea...se be patient as we try to find our feet, just as everyone else is doing right now.
