20.01.2022 Our family owned operation comprising of several diverse entities is seeking a new bookkeeper/administration officer to join our growing team. The role will be... ideally suited to an individual who is able to work independently and enjoys variety in tasks and the challenge of making this role their own. Initially a casual position working a minimum of 25 hours per week, with the potential of increased hours and/or full time employment for the right candidate. Key responsibilities include: - Bookkeeping for multiple entities; - Accounts payable and receivable; - Reconciling accounts, BAS and IAS preparation; - Payroll management; - Budgeting, cashflow management & financial reporting; and - Data entry and various other office and administration tasks as required. The suitable candidate must be able to demonstrate relevant experience in a similar bookkeeping role and possess: - Intermediate to advanced proficiency accounting software QuickBooks Online and/or Xero; - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel. - Good time management including ability to manage strict time frames and work well under pressure; - Ability to multi-task and be adaptable to changing priorities; - High level of accuracy, attention to detail, organisation skills and self-motivation; - Strong communications skills (both written and verbal) and professional telephone manner; - An understanding of confidentiality; and - Minimum 3 years experience in a bookkeeping role. 04.01.2022 The Raptor has been busy hooking into the Leucaena lately Our machine specialises in the removal of pests and infestations. We will be around the Rockhampton area over the coming weeks to complete land reclamation. The Raptor will be tackling a number of woody weeds including prickly acacia, mimosa, rubber vine and lantana that have become an issue in the region of late. ... We are conscious of biosecurity requirements and machine hygiene to prevent the spreading of unwanted pests. Our team ensures our machines are meticulously washed and sprayed with chemical between each job, to clear the machines of any remnants of weeds or seed.
