23.01.2022 A good crowd attended the Annual Meeting on Monday night .Pete Schlitz and Dawn McKissack were returned as President and Secretary / treasurer . A social bowls day will be held in the coming months to honour Graeme Peterson , it will be a chance for everyone to get together and share memories of Graeme .
22.01.2022 Thanks to all those who turned up on Saturday for the big clean up at the bowls . Two and a half trailer loads of bush and rose clippings and a few buckets of grass growing in the spout were dispatched . Social ( distancing ) bowls is on this coming Saturday 1.30pm . More info to follow shortly .
21.01.2022 Social bowls tomorrow. Names in by 1pm.
20.01.2022 Congratulations to our Club Pairs Champions , Jock Ritchie and Karen McKissack , winning the final against Dale Williams and Alan White . Jock and Karen defeated Pete Schlitz and Wayne Cook in the semi while China and Alan defeated Terry Nolan and Barb Baker . In the final Jock and Karen put the score on the board early and though China and Alan battled hard they couldn't match the form of the eventual winners . Good to see former President David McGrath call in for the day and share a few refreshments .

17.01.2022 The Bowling Club is closed for any use as per the Government and Bowls Vic latest directive . We are fortunate to have finished all our club events , ending on a great day for the Club Pairs . Presentation night and the Annual Meeting are on hold until further notice . After a good year in which we won our 3rd straight premiership we look forward to meeting on the green again in the not too distant future . In the meantime , stay safe .
17.01.2022 Sad news today with the passing of Graeme Peterson .Graeme was secretary for a number of years , Club Champion in 2013 and held numerous positions in the club . As an umpire his knowledge of the rules of bowls was incredible .Throughout his illness he kept a positive attitude and was always hopeful of getting back to playing bowls , a lesson to us all . Though unable to play he was still keen to keep up with what was happening around the club . Our deepest sympathies to Edie and family . Rest in peace Graeme .
13.01.2022 A little something for all you bowlers stuck at home .
10.01.2022 Teams for Midweek Pennant 23 Nov.
10.01.2022 A good day was had by everyone in perfect weather for Social Bowls on saturday . The new "scroungers " format was played for the first time at Quamby , it's a different version of 100 up where each player is trying to score points for themselves , and was very entertaining . Brian Graham was the winner on the day with a massive 107 points while Amber took the prize for the lowest score . We may have to wait a while for another game due to the new restrictions so we will see what the directive is from Bowls vic .
10.01.2022 Congratulations to Peter Schlitz on taking out the 100 up today. In a hard fought match played in very tricky conditions, pete got a fast start and held China at bay. Thanks to all that helped and participated. Club pairs next Saturday, names to Peter or Dawn.
