25.01.2022 Anyone need a tractor, or two? Just port yourself back to the 1950s in Guthrie St.
17.01.2022 Who was the worst behaved student on his school bus run?, what was Nalder and Elliott like at the peak of the harvest?... Keith Elliott has experienced a lot in our town and the town has experienced a lot because of him. Enjoy! https://youtu.be/tKSbyWa08dk
16.01.2022 QHC are in the process of seeking additional grant funding from various government organisations to begin the next edition of "storytellers". If you would like to nominate an interview candidate please do (in comments).
15.01.2022 We need more videos like this...
15.01.2022 Fore! Unfortunately the Golf Club walls can't talk - but we have the next best thing! Terry & Pauline Nolan and John & Nyrie Ryan discuss the early course and club house, the move to the new (existing) clubhouse and the course re-design. So many great servants of our town have participated in the golf club, here we remember some of them. https://youtu.be/WTF_g5CJXfE
15.01.2022 How can one person represent so much history? What was it like in the early 1900's...How about living through a war...Riding a horse to school? All of our storytellers have been fantastic, but I am certain you will want to grab a coffee and enjoy this discussion with Norma Meney. https://youtu.be/9ms1VpyFQ1c
09.01.2022 As our own Peter Schlitz famously sang "you've gotta have balls to play tennis!". The Quambatook Tennis Club Labour Day tournament was another key annual event for our town with hundreds of people coming from all over Australia for great grass court tennis and to connect with friends! Re-live the history of the Tennis Club with Norma Bennett & John Ryan https://youtu.be/igfOianW28g
07.01.2022 Shearing is a big part of our history, you might say it is a close to you as the clothes on your back! Here Frank Bibby gives us the story of his family and how the first shearing sheds came to be in the Quambatook area. We are talking about over 100 years ago folks...great history! (note: live video starts at 4 mins). https://youtu.be/h8eN3go3GYw
07.01.2022 Very few towns can lay claim to an "Australian Championship", but we can. Leo Parker, Trevor Bennett, Kelvin Jobling and Keith Elliott sat down to give us the history of how the Australian Tractor Pull Championships came to be in Quambatook and what is has meant to the town. You would be 'Plum Crazy' not to be 'Quamby Quaker-ing' to sit and watch this. Maybe grab a 'Cannie Cruncher' while you do? https://youtu.be/jCgSYyj7npQ
05.01.2022 While filming we had the opportunity to get a quick sit down with Mrs. Judy Cameron. Judy presents a unique perspective on the "go" and "slow" times of our town. From Nalder & Elliott, the Mallee Chemical business and the Catholic Church...take a few minutes to hear her stories. https://youtu.be/dzYs5oMMD3s

01.01.2022 It's "officially" open and to put a stamp on it, we have a new plaque in front giving recognition to the support of all the clubs, businesses and communities of Quambatook and Cannie districts. Pictured: Nyrie Ryan, Judy Cameron, Keith Den Houting, Leanne & Chris Coughlan.
01.01.2022 Who doesn't love a relaxing roll on the bowling green? Join Pauline & "Terry-Two-Feet-Short" Nolan as they walk us through the history of the Quambatook Bowls Club. https://youtu.be/fvWzBrJzFHQ
