25.01.2022 Happy Hump Day!!! Christmas is nearly here guys and gals, so don't forget to stock up on presents from the pro shop. Sale is still on with heaps of specials for everyone. We are only closed Christmas day, so with friends and family around for the holidays, why not come out for a round of golf. You can show them around while you work on your game and walk off the all the food and drink that comes with the festive season!

24.01.2022 Even Santa needs some putting practice, so take advantage of the balmy Tasmanian weather and get some practice in before the holidays. Pro shop is closed Christmas day only and our sale is still running, so if you like to buy yourself or someone in your life a golfing gift, come on in for a bargain! Saturday mornings' club comp is Christmas Ambrose Pairs and also another guest day, so members bring some fresh faces along to play on our fantastic course.

23.01.2022 Light work on the greens started yesterday, please take care when out on course and we are offering discounted green fees for the next couple of days!

18.01.2022 Happy Monday! Work on greens postponed and won't start until further notice. Course is in great condition and perfect for a visit, especially with daylight savings providing us with a few extra hours to enjoy the sun! With all the extra visitors of late, we have added a few new lines to the pro shop for you to enjoy!! Please like/share to spread the word

16.01.2022 Morning all Danny Ross here. Just to let you know Peter has now left and myself and business partner Murray Howlett have taken over the business. I'm sure most of you have heard about the Quamby Estate and its magnificent nine-hole golf course, well I must say it is in absolute ideal condition at the moment and is just waiting for you to give it a test drive. Instead of going to the pub after work on Friday afternoon why not grab a couple of mates and come out on to the Quamby golf course. If you tee-off after 3:00pm the green fees are halved, that's just $10 for nine holes, about a buck a hole..!! Where else would you get that on such a beautiful golf course..?? I'll be in the golf shop. I hope to see you.

12.01.2022 Afternoon all Peter Freeland here..As some of you may know, due to my other business commitments, I am finishing up as the Pro here at Quamby and would like to take the time to thank everyone who has supported me with this venture and wish you all the best for the future. Floyd is also finishing up in the pro shop and moving onto bigger things, we wish him all the best and thank him for boosting memberships, green fees and promoting the course. Happy golfing everyone and keep up the support for Danny and co when they take over next week.

Just a heads up for people wishing to play weekends, Quamby Golf Club championships are being held over the next two weekends, so course will be busy on the Saturday and Sunday mornings of both weekends. Best of luck to all competing! Also, there are a number of golfing items that have been left on course, so pop your head into the Pro Shop if you have lost an item over the last month or two and we will be happy to see if yours' is there. ... Great to see a few early starters so far this morning taking advantage of the conditions, we always have room for more. For anyone playing tomorrow, remember to pay your green fees over at the old clubhouse and hold onto your receipt as there will be Quamby staff coming through at various times to keep an eye on things.

01.01.2022 Guest Day This Saturday!!! Competition is Ambrose Pairs, only $5 entry and no green fees for non members playing in the comp!!! We would love to see new golfers about and with no green fees for the competition, it is designed to bring some fresh faces out to experience our fabulous course that maybe haven't before. So bring a mate or three along, you might even win a prize. Danny will be cooking snags and burgers on the bbq also.... Tee off from 7:45am onwards for the early birds, see you then!!! See more
