20.01.2022 More than 100 people came to say goodbye to Robert (Bob) Ormond last Wednesday 27-08-08 at Altona Cemetery. Members of Quang Minh Buddhist Temple remembered Bob as a kind and compassionate man. Bob began volunteering at Quang Minh Temple almost 6 years ago. He helped to keep the temple clean and safe for the children, said Venerable Thich Phuoc Tan, Abbot of Quang Minh Buddhist Temple. 03.01.2022 The Vision for Werribee Plains project was approached to trial a commercial scale worm farm at the temple using the waste from the kitchen, and to teach kitchen hands how to use the system effectively. The plant is also used as a demonstration to patrons of the temple on how to dispose of green waste at home using composting techniques.
