23.01.2022 A lovely day at Touchwood Farm. Feeding time for the goats is 1pm and it is approximately a 15 minute drive from Quarry Hill Lookout. A great hands on experience for the children.

11.01.2022 On our way back from Quarry Hill Lookout, we called into The Honey Pot, 2273 Huon Highway, Huonville. We bought a selection of treats including some Tasmanian Wilderness honeycomb, a slice of Nutty Nougat and some honeycomb dipped in milk chocolate.... all were delicious and certainly well worth the stop.

10.01.2022 The Quarry Hill Lookout hothouse is coming along nicely. This year we have some Nicola potatoes growing along the back wall and some spring onions, spinach, snow peas and tomatoes growing along the sides. Sounds like some nice fresh salads coming up

02.01.2022 Great news...... The Tahune Airwalk will be opening up on the 4th July 2020. Make sure you pop this on your to do list when visiting the Huon Valley!

02.01.2022 We were interested to see an electric vehicle charge station at Geeveston today - looks like they could be becoming more popular...... and of course we couldn’t resist the Wall of Lollies Shop No platypus on the Platypus Walk for us today but we did spot a duck and her ducklings. The playground was a nice find with some good quality play equipment for the kids to enjoy.
