22.01.2022 Two New Synthetic Bowling Greens. It was announced this morning at a special meeting that two synthetic greens will be constructed at Farrer Place. It is hoped that the two greens will be completed before Christmas.

18.01.2022 Mens Major Pairs Champions. In a great game of bowls, worthy of a final, Gordon Kelly and Ben McLennan were the victors over Sam Vucago and Jason Johnson 27 - 14. Congratulations to Gordon and Ben, commiserations to Sam and Jason.

17.01.2022 Queanbeyan Bowling Club Footy Tippers Results The Queanbeyan tipping competition has been run and won this year. There perhaps hasn't been as much banter about the tipping this year due to covid restrictions but I hope everyone enjoyed taking part. This year's winners:... 1st: Lethal Shark - $168 Tied 2nd: Spud and Ryan $56 No third place due to Spud and Ryan running equal 2nd.

17.01.2022 ACT Champion of Champion Singles Congratulations to Lorraine Donney who is in the final of the Champion of Champion Singles at 1.00pm Sunday 11 Oct at QRSL - playing Chloe Morrison of Tuggeranong. Despite a very good effort Wayne Brownlie lost his match against Nathan Savino this morning.

13.01.2022 Crookwell Prestige Triples Winners. Queanbeyan team, winners of Crookwell prestige triples. Well done to John Britton, Michael Britton and super skip Gordon Elliott the Only 5 game winners Other notable achievements over the weekend Phil Jeffries team choking in the last game . 1st to 6th. It was also Leigh Penman' s last tournament representing Queanbeyan. Leigh was in Phil's team. Kev Pearson came second in the driving comp a bit of a contradiction . Queanbeyan Bowlers conducted themselves to our usual top standard. The best preformed Saturday night had to go to dad Nicky Bamblett. A very enjoyable weekend from our 6 teams

This will now provide spectators with a weekend feast of high class bowls as the Major and Minor Pairs finals will be played on Saturday 12th September. Major Singles Semi-finals...
