25.01.2022 Every day we are out there helping our local communities. Rain... Hail... Fire... Pandemic...

23.01.2022 So its National Volunteer Week where we recognise those that quietly and consistently give their personal time - the one commodity that you can never get back - to help their communities. Facebook feeds are being filled with well edited videos and photos of these awesome people. But not everyone is comfortable being in the spotlight. So my shout-out and sincere thanks go to all those St John volunteers who continue to work tirelessly behind the scenes today and everyday.... For every second of your valuable time that you generously gift to this organisation and the people of NSW I would like to say... Thankyou.

16.01.2022 Very proud to see all of the Divisions in the Southern NSW hub receive nominations at the Centre for Volunteering Regional Volunteer of the Year Awards. Congratulations to all the great volunteers at St John Ambulance. You do us proud each and every week. These are very worthy nominations to the members of Queanbeyan, Goulburn, Cooma, and Moruya Divisions.

12.01.2022 So... This is what we have been up to

11.01.2022 Greetings all. St John Ambulance have been out in force supporting evacuees impacted by the recent fires. In fact, we've been involved in the NSW Bushfire effort as a support agency since September 2019.... Since then, we've deployed over 400+ volunteers, covered over 4000+ hours in disaster and emergency relief, and have been active at over 6 base camps, 3 fire stations and 25 evacuation centres. Your local crew from Queanbeyan Combined Division have deployed to evac centres in Cooma, Bega, Narooma, Tuross Heads and Moruya. We have also staffed the police public information centre in Sydney. Our volunteers supported the Sydney NYE celebrations as well as continuing to provide trusted and quality first aid services to the communities of the QPRC and surrounding areas. This is a collaborative, joint effort - and for all our team who have come together to deliver and get things done without fuss, deserve absolute first class honours. Thank you for all your hard work, dedication, and commitment to our community. I'll echo the words of Helen Keller: "Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much." and this is exemplified in what we are achieving and continue to achieve today.
