Classes will be rotating through a series of games such as netball, handball, cricket, touch football, volleyball and dodgeball.... As a special treat for our Stage 3 students, we will be providing a sausage sizzle lunch prepared and cooked by the staff. Please don’t hesitate to contact your class teacher if you have any questions. Regards, Stage 3 Teachers

20.01.2022 It's all happening around the grounds and buildings at QPS at the moment. We are in the process of upgrading the surface of playground 5 and, as part of the Cooler Classrooms program, installing air conditioners into the classrooms.

17.01.2022 Today two of our school captains, Zara and Daniel, attended a Remembrance Day ceremony at the Moore Park Memorial Rose Garden. Due to Covid restrictions, we were only able to send two students and a teacher and they, along with Mrs Austin, represented our school beautifully. #rememberanceday #wewillrememberthem #ANZAC

15.01.2022 Uniform Update: Please note that the fleecy sweat top is no longer available to purchase. If you wish to purchase an alternative, the polar fleece zip jacket is available in all sizes.

09.01.2022 This week our school received the Nanga Mai Award for outstanding commitment to increasing knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal histories, culture and experiences of Aboriginal People. Our school was nominated in 2019 by Mrs Kym Hawes. This is an outstanding achievement for our wonderful school. We look forward to continuing to strengthen our commitment to Aboriginal Education. We were meant to originally receive the award at a ceremony in Sydney earlier this year, howev...er due to Covid the ceremony was cancelled. Receiving this award during NAIDOC has topped off our week!

03.01.2022 Year 3/4 Green have been learning the Fibonacci Sequence in Mathematics. The Fibonacci sequence is one of the most famous formulas in mathematics and shows us how we combine mathematics and nature. A mainstay of high-school and undergraduate classes, it's been called "nature's secret code," and "nature's universal rule." It is said to govern the dimensions of everything from the Great Pyramid at Giza, to the iconic seashell that likely graced the cover of your school math textbook.
