14.01.2022 Going Green for Parks Our parks, and the dedicated Council team that maintain them, helped us remain active, healthy and connected during COVID-19. World Urban ...Parks Asia Pacific Region is organising a salute to parks and 'parkies' around the region and is calling on everyone to wear green and light up civic and iconic spaces and places green to say thanks We've kicked things off by lighting the trees of Monaro Street and the pedestrian bridge over the Queanbeyan River. This weekend, why not visit a park in our region (while being mindful of social distancing and hygiene!) and on Tuesday 30 June dress in green to show your appreciation.
