25.01.2022 https://queenriverwoodworks.com.au//24/its-a-new-beginning/ Now to begin the rebuilding stage. I have already found the customer service 100% better. Its refreshing that I can begin again. I will concentrate on putting my work up in my gallery, on instagram plus starting my blog in another direction as well. More videos will be posted plus my shop hopefully will be working on sunday.

24.01.2022 King Billy coasters in the works. Milled down to 5 mm, yet to be sanded. These will be just beautiful.

24.01.2022 Pigment is from A1 pigments. These two coasters are 130 x 130 and will be sold as a set of two only.

23.01.2022 All my stock has gone now. I’m in the rebuilding stage. I’ve already started on the next set of coasters while I wait for my epoxy delivery

22.01.2022 https://queenriverwoodworks.com.au/ This is my website. It looks similar, yet is different. I have started work on a gallery. I have not yet added to the blog as that will be starting afresh. I will test bpay on my shop tomorrow to check its working then will set that up for purchases in the future. Let me know if you get time what you think, how it could be improved. Thank you Scott

19.01.2022 Just incredible

19.01.2022 Blackwood Coasters in the making

18.01.2022 https://queenriverwoodworks.com.au/2021/02/03/2021/

17.01.2022 Two different shades of blue, two greens and a platinum pearl, a few drops of black liquid pearl. I’m loving this colour.

16.01.2022 Finishing some odd jobs when I get a spare half an hour. This was a pink pigment that turned purple with a dark background. A nice surprise indeed and totally unexpected

16.01.2022 Next lot of coasters in the process. This wood is different. It’s like nothing I have worked with before. The colours that pop from it are quite unique.

15.01.2022 I have made and tested a few router sleds, all proved no good due to flex and movement. The final sled is a linear rail sled with a thin steel base. The base can take a larger half inch router which i will upgrade to one day in the far far future. The sled has no flex, moves freely, the only improvement I can add to it is longer side rails. I will be attaching four wooden stops on the side rails. Though no modifications for quite a while now.

15.01.2022 It’s been a busy week. I’m late adding a weekly update from the work shop as no photos have been taken. Hopefully tomorrow I can get something up as I’ve got some exciting projects and news.

15.01.2022 I really like this. I’ve got some pallets as well. Mmmmmm.

08.01.2022 Today’s work with coasters. Cannot wait to see the outcome, especially with the black and silver

08.01.2022 https://queenriverwoodworks.com.au/2020/10/01/coasters/ New coasters on the way. Not sure on the colours yet, though Im keen to try black and silver in a set just to see.

04.01.2022 Today I learnt a lot about staging photos for my work. So no more photos unless it’s in a blog of my work progress. It’s time to put a bit more effort into photos of my finished work. My dad always said if your going to do something do it right or not at all. Thanks Sharna and Tracy Dickson for pointing out the obvious that I was blind to

04.01.2022 Huon pine and epoxy

04.01.2022 When sanding my eyes can deceive me, lines never will

03.01.2022 Today I dropped off two pieces of work at the Soggy Brolly Gallery in Queenstown. They will be displayed next week. I hope to drop off a set of coasters as well. I'm so happy with the finished products and I know they will make a great addition to some lucky persons home.

01.01.2022 A new set of coasters ready for a pour when the weather gets a bit warmer. Something special to be built out of this bit of wood.

01.01.2022 Q West Gallery. These guys really support local artists and I’m proud to have some of my work displayed in this store.
