25.01.2022 A little beeswax candle inspiration for our birthday long weekend!! . Shout out to @taradennisstore for these beautiful images... Queen B candles now in store!

17.01.2022 Missing the aroma of fresh coffee in the morning?... pop a Queen B tealight in a glass of fresh coffee beans!! It’s cheaper than your daily coffee and with a 4-5hr burn time per tealight, it lasts about 10 times longer too!! . #tealights #beeswaxtealights #beeswax #beekeeper #organic #australianmade #buyfromthebush #isolation #iso #pure

16.01.2022 Seriously mastering this online marketing gig now (which is nothing short of miraculous for a little business hand making beeswax candles just as they've been made for centuries)!

13.01.2022 Playing with new goodies at the hive today... watch this space!

10.01.2022 RePosted @withregram @lowtoxhomes_ Why are bees wax candles the only candles you should be buying? So many reasons. If burnt properly they don’t smoke, they are natural ionisers, contain no chemicals (check the wick is pure cotton) and support local bee keepers and their communities if brought in Aus. Beware of natural soy candles. Most soy is GM. It is actually chemically bleached, hydrogenated-with-heavy-metals soybean oil. Also, be wary of synthetic fragranced candles. They release toxic particulates into the air. I buy my candles from @queenbcandles Sure bees wax is more expensive, but it has a long life and I feel so much better knowing I’m actually improving the air quality inside my house each time I use it. Other candles do the opposite.

09.01.2022 If there is one thing that covid-19 has made clear it’s that we need more Australian manufacturing. The Government need to take the lead on this through ACTIONS not just words. . Did you know that the Chinese government require a minimum 80% local content for any government contract?? In Australia the required Australian content is 0%. . We too can make a difference through the choices we make. Become belligerent about buying Australian made. It does take more effort but bo...y is it worth it knowing that every time you buy a locally made product there is a small tribe of people in your orbit doing a happy dance of appreciation. Have a fabulous Sunday... and please light a pure beeswax candle to support out drought and bushfire affected bees and beekeepers. I promise you won’t regret it (if it’s from Queen B)! . Repost from @michele.tiger.lyons Self care to me is spending my hard earned dollars on gorgeous Australian made products. 05.01.2022 Food always tastes better with the lights down and flame fired up... (Helps of the food is cooked by @chefmattstone and @jobarrett ) If you can’t be with friends or family at least you can light up the show

02.01.2022 If you haven't tried beeswax wraps yet, reducing plastic waste is one good reason. Read this article for some gobsmacking facts and figures... Saving food is another... you'll have an ah-ha moment at some stage when you unwrap cheese that would usually have been mouldy (or hard). Or, you unwrap celery or asparagus or spinach and it's still snap fresh after 10 days. ... Or your loaf of sourdough is soft enough to slice on Day 7... If you haven't tried it yet, the time is now (well it was about 5 years ago really but let's not quibble). I understand a reticence because of the cost, but if they haven't paid themselves off in food saved in the first 3 months then you need some sort of medal. https://ekko.world/how-much-plastic-does-a-household/220067

02.01.2022 #MadewithLibertyFabrics Clementina is a classic dating from the height of Liberty Fabrics’ iconic Art Nouveau period in the early 1900s. It features a meadow arrangement of elegant poppies, surrounded by curling leaves and grass. Printed in the Liberty printing mill in Northern Italy (which is about the closest any of us are going to get to Italy in the near future). . #beeswaxwraps #foodwraps #formandfunction #designerlife #design #fashion #interiordesign #style #luxury #handmade #isoinstyle #savefoodsavemoney #noexcuseforsingleuse
