09.01.2022 R U Ok? I don't want to be yet another business page in your feed prompting you to check in with people. I don't want to put out just another generic "r u ok?" post. I want to raise awareness, make change and inspire others to do the same. Today is just one of 365(366) days of the year and while it's crucial to have today as our annual reminder to check in and provide support, it means nothing if we ask nothing and say nothing on all of those countless other days. I've a...lways kept myself and my stories off of my business page, QoC is about my creations not necessarily me as a person. But for this message to do what I want it to do, you need to know more of me than what I can create. For as long as I can remember, I've had anxiety and some level of depression. I just didn't always know what it was. At one point in recent years, I was also dealing with paranoia. I saw a pyschiatrist, went on anti-depressants and worked so damn hard to claw back my life. I did. And now I no longer need anti-depressants to function and only see a psychologist. I am finally content. Yes, there's still bad days, hard days and days that I want to just stay in bed. But I can honestly say that I am ok, and actually the ok-est I've ever been I'm luckier than a lot of people I know, that didn't get to get better. I've had friends and family lose their battles, while others have continued to be ruled by it. So please, check in on your friends and loved ones today. Ask them if they're okay and mean it when you ask. Be prepared for a conversation. And remember to keep checking in. People that are struggling need you more than one day a year

07.01.2022 Here's your reminder to not beat yourself up if you don't master something on the first (second or third!) try! Bottom cookie was March 2016 and my first ever RI cookie. The top was my latest cookie from yesterday. I only seriously got into cookies just under 2 years ago because that first cookie ruined me and I thought it was something I'd never ever be able to do. But if you practice enough (and watch enough YouTube), you can master just about anything, including these damn cookies!
