24.01.2022 I am SO EXCITED to launch the pre-sale of my very first Queen of Fabric bespoke Liberty range: Meadow. . These have been in the works for many months and I am just so proud of them. The samples arrived earlier this week and I just...lost my mind. Truthfully, I was so nervous when the parcel came, I did the dishes before I could muster the courage to open it. . A collection of 6 beautiful prints from the late 70s right through to 2009, these are must haves for any Libe...rty lover and collector. 15.01.2022 Sweet Juliette! A print from 1984. I knew I wanted a strong yellow in the range and I tried and rejected about 15 others prints before finally finding this beauty. It was the last frontier of my range, so to speak! I put the yellow background on, took the pinks and blues from the other prints and voila! 12.01.2022 Meet Caprice. So far coming in second place, this stunner is from 1979! I only had a tiny 4x4" square of the original of this but I knew right away I had to include it in my collection. I had a lot of fun choosing the perfect soft and pretty blue for the background and am just thrilled with how it's come out. This was the design I thought would be the front runner! . 12.01.2022 I actually think I had the most fun playing with Purdy, which is from 1978. The oldest print of the bunch, the 4x4" square I had of this one was a fabulous brown, orange and purple number! So 70s! I knew I wanted to keep the strength in Purdy so I kept the theme of the strong green and vibrant colours for the flowers. 10.01.2022 It was fun placing bets with myself on which print in my Bespoke range would be the front runner, and I am pleased to announce that I was wrong! I can't win them all, but it seems that the beautiful Haxby, from 2009, can! . When we found this print, Mum, @judynewman, told me it was incredibly popular and she promptly put it on the back of a quilt! This was actually the print I built the whole range around. Originally on a creamy white background, I knew immediately that ...I wanted to make the background pink and charcoal and I had about 20 different versions of flower colours! The creative process is long and arduous, but never say never and always sleep on it! . Haxby and the other lovely prints in my Meadow range are now available on the website. 04.01.2022 Meet Joanna Rose, from 2001. I have oodles of this in my stash in the original light blue, which is possibly one of my favourites ever. I knew I wanted to include this in my range, but I also wasn't sure how to change something I already thought was perfect! I had already decided I wanted a strong feature green, so I started there and realised the only way forward was with a strong blue for the flower, too.
