16.01.2022 We are super excited to announce there are two winners of this year's Foot-in-the-Door Competition! Congratulations to Gabby Steel and Seb Szabo! A massive thank you to all those who applied. There truly was a high calibre of applicants this year and our judges struggled to find a winner so we thought why not have two! ... This competition would not be possible without the support of FReeZA - A Victorian State Government Initiative. We look forward to seeing both artists at QMF 2021

15.01.2022 Hi Folks. Sad news that Vince Peach has to cancel his NYE appearance with us at The Pelican Bar and other planned gigs, under orders from his Doctors following a serious health incident. We just found out a couple of hours after announcing the show. Most importantly we wish Vince a speedy recovery and hope to see him back behind the decks at QMF / The Pelican Bar soon! We will work on a replacement act to join Jesse Valach & The Testaments on NYE. Regards, QMF.

14.01.2022 THE PELICAN BAR TICKETING TIPS Before you book for The Pelican Bar here's a few handy tips.. Decide which Ticket/Menu option you're choosing as a table, Gull/Swan/Pelican. Note: the Gull Ticket is for 3-5pm sessions only, as it's a lighter 1 course meal option. Decide which session you're booking. For each day/artist there are multiple sessions to chose from, and more will be added based on demand. Make sure you have for each person in your group:... - Name - Phone - Dietary Selection (Meat/Vegetarian/Vegan) TICKETS ON SALE TUESDAY NOV 10th @ 10am We realise it's a little more work in advance than we all may have been accustomed to when buying tickets, but in these new COVID times we find ourselves in, this is the best and safest approach. For example, having names & phone for each person/ticket means we've got contact tracing covered in advance, and you'll scan in with your ticket when you arrive.

10.01.2022 Well today’s a bittersweet day. Standing in the empty park where the Lighthouse Stage should have been, ready to welcome all of our QMF family for our 24th Festival. The world had other plans, and now we do too. We’re now standing in the Bellarine Railway park enjoying the sea breeze off Swan Bay waiting to welcome just a small group of our QMF family this weekend as well as some of our favourite acts.
