25.01.2022 What a weekend out west! Queensland Cricket made a quick pit stop to both Clermont and Capella Cricket Club to visit their Junior and Master Blasters over the weekend. A massive thank you to all the parents, volunteers and coordinators for all of their hard work to ensure that kids are playing and enjoying cricket #PlayCricket #ThatsMyGame

23.01.2022 Congratulations to Gold Coast’s volunteer of the month for November, Paul Butler from Mudgeeraba Nerang & Districts Cricket Club. Paul takes on many roles at his club including managing the first-grade team, preparing the fields, project management for the clubs facility projects over the off season, and always puts his hand up to help. He is a tremendous volunteer who is greatly respected by his club and the Gold Coast cricket community as a whole. This award is truly well deserved, and we thank Paul for all the work he does. Congratulations Paul and thank you!

22.01.2022 We are enormously proud of the girls of NQ, who reached the semi-finals of the State Primary Schools U12s Girls Cricket Championships in their first appearance at the competition. The invitational team was made up of players from Townsville, Ingham, Home Hill, Cairns and the FNQ city's surrounding regions. An eventual 4th place finish is an outstanding result and just the start for schoolgirls cricket in the North!

19.01.2022 Townsville’s four Clontarf academies came together for an amazing day of cricket fun in the city recently. The boys were a credit to themselves with their conduct and showed plenty of skill along the way!

11.01.2022 Congratulations to Dave McVey who is the volunteer of the month for December Dave regularly spends his days at the Cooroy-Eumundi Cricket Club mowing fields, rolling, pitch mowing, putting covers on and taking them off. Mostly all on his own! Without people like Dave our game would not exist. Well done Dave!

05.01.2022 Congratulations to Leanne McAllister, who is the Sunshine Coast Volunteer of the Month for November! Leanne is the Junior Coordinator at Glasshouse Districts Cricket Club, and was the driving force behind their recent participation in the National Reconciliation Round. Through several initiatives lead by Leanne, the club have been able to strengthen connections to their indigenous community. Leanne organized a barefoot circle between the Division One Team side, players from Nambour Cricket Club, Sunshine Coast Goanna’s, GDCC club supporters, and junior & senior players. The stumps used by the senior sides on the day featured artwork by Uncle Alan. Keep up the great work Leanne!

01.01.2022 North Queensland’s Matteo Felesina produced a stunning double hat-trick in the weekend’s Queensland Cricket U14s Northern Challenge. We tracked down the vision to create a video to mark the impressive feat.

01.01.2022 We hope everyone had a Happy & Safe Christmas. Heater had a ball when he visited the Darling Downs & South West Qld 1st Annual Christmas Cup. A great night of cricket under lights in Toowoomba.
