25.01.2022 52. Ryosuke Mae Position: Left Wing "Michelle" is making his debut for the QLD men's team. He is from Japan and he is currently studying in Australia. His speed on the wing will be a key factor in the teams ability to score goals in counter attack.



24.01.2022 Brown snakes went down again in an early morning match to ACT. After a solid controlled start the boys lost their way slightly in the middle 10 minutes of the first half, which the opposition capitalised on. A strong second half and our best defensive performance to date (5 minutes with no goal) weren't enough to claw back the deficit created early on. We are looking to build on the strong performance in the second half and get a win against our bitter rivals NSW this afternoon. Beware the Brown Snake. QLD 21 - ACT 25

20.01.2022 23. Will Matthews Position: Left Back 'Will' brings years of nationals experience for the men's team. He is the third most capped player in this year team and he will bring composure and stability to the teams offence. And speed and size to the defence.

16.01.2022 5. Josh Parmenter Position: Playmaker "Junior" after a ten year absence in the maroon, The former Australian Captain rejoins this young team to provide knowledge a calm head and a never say die attitude.

14.01.2022 Brown Snakes lost to Victoria in their fast game this evening (24-21). A close game, lots of positives to build on tomorrow. A strong defensive performance from the team. Team is in good spirits and looking forward to tomorrow.

13.01.2022 3. Todd Morschel Position: Pivot "Barry"Let's start of by saying this isn't his first rodeo. He brings a wealth of knowledge with over 10years experience in the Queensland men's team. His most memorable moment is scoring the winning goal in 2005 to secure the gold medal for Queensland.

11.01.2022 1. Ognjen Latinovi Position: Playmaker Due to external factors beyond his control, "Ogi" will be unavailable to represent the Queensland men's Team this year and will be greatly missed.

07.01.2022 With the Australian National Championships starting tomorrow it's a good time to look back at the our last two Queensland men's teams to win gold. Can this years team bring home gold like the teams from 2005 & 2014!

07.01.2022 16. Hui Tjioman Position: Goal Keeper "Hui" aka Whacky waving inflatable arm-flailing tube man. He will be the last line of defence for the team in the cage and control the defence from the back.



07.01.2022 13. Scott Marshall Position: Playmaker "Scotty" is a key player in the offensive line-up. He is a versatile player whose fitness is amongst the best in the team. His speed and size along with his experience will be vital to the teams success.

02.01.2022 12. Alex Lynch Position: Goal Keeper "Lynchy" is making his debut for the men's team. He has worked hard on the mental side of goal keeping whilst coming through the ranks of the junior Queensland handball program. He has developed and now finds himself the starting keeper for the men's team.
