19.01.2022 Hi all, Namaste. The 'Shiva-linga' we brought from Nepal with everyone's support and donation is placed at 84 Goss Rd, Virginia QLD 4014. ... Although QNCC is not celebrating Teej as a special event this year because of COVID'19 related restrictions, anyone from our community is welcome for Shivalinga Darshan on the very special occasion of TEEJ. Street parking will not be an issue. If you need to come with your little ones, that is also totally fine. Thank you.

05.01.2022 Request for EoI to run a food stall :). You might be well aware that the official reopening of Nepalese Peace Pagoda is taking place on the 7th of November 2020, Saturday. A special Nepalease Cultural Show will be hosted on the South Bank Parklands site immediately after the program. This cultural program is being organised by QNCC with the support of other local Nepalese Community organisations. We are proud to let you know that there are many businesses and organisations ...who have been supporting and promoting this special event. We are planning to have a food stall at the venue of the event. There are however a number of limitations from Southbank Parklands as well as from the organisers, which we must adhere to. We would like to invite you to come forward with your Expression of Interest for the food stall complying the following terms and conditions, in case you would be interested: 1. Delivering quality and authentic Nepalese food in standard/ reasonable price 2. Must have a valid food licence and should strictly follow the hygienic practice 3. You are expected to be at the venue for business for 4 hours 4. The food items you will be selling cant be the same items that are available from other food outlets in the parklands area 5. We request you to support this program with $200 cash as other supporting businesses. We will try our best to promote your business including having your logo on the poster. Please find the attached poster a sample 6. We are planning to provide food vouchers to the volunteers. We are expecting at least 20 $10 food vouchers free of cost from you. These vouchers can only be used to buy food from your stall. If you decide more than 20 vouchers, that is up to you and we will be glad to receive them. We understand that the number of participants and your sales plays a vital role in making a decision from your side. Due to the covid restrictions and uncertainty around those in 2 months time from now, we are not in a position to give you expected number of people attending the function. If you would like to further discuss the matter, please do not hesitate to talk to Narayan panthi on 0405922955. We are expecting to receive your EOI by Sep 30, Wednesday, 9 pm. The organising committee will evaluate the received EOIs and make the final decision. Thank you.
