25.01.2022 Here you go guys, the Udder-ly cute moo cow tutorial. Enjoy! 1 To make the cow's body, take 20g of White modelling paste and gently pinch and pull the two ...legs from one side. Flatten the back of the body. 2 Take two small balls of the dark grey paste and flatten with your fingers, pinch and pull the paste to create a splat shape. Glue the splats to the body. 3 For the hooves, take two small pea sized balls of dark grey paste and shape into cylinders, with one end narrower than the other. Mark the toe groove with the dresden tool and glue the hoof in place at the end of each leg. 4 For the head, take 20g of White modelling paste and roll into an egg shape. 5 Cut away the wide end of the egg and replace with the same shape in Pink modelling paste. Push a ball tool into the pink paste to form the nostrils. 6 Use your finger to create a groove in the top half of the face and then use a large ball tool to indent the eye sockets. Draw a lopsided curved line at the bottom of the face and open the mouth by pushing the dresden tool in and pushing downwards. Finish the mouth by pushing a ball tool into the ends of the smile. 7 Add two further splats. Push the 5mm ball tool into the eye sockets. Fill the eyes sockets with two balls of White paste and add pupils with the black ink pen. 8 For the ears, roll a cone from a pea sized ball of dark grey modelling paste and push the bulbous cone tool into the paste to create the inner ear. Repeat using a pea sized ball of White. Glue in place on either side of the head. 9 Add two small curved cones of Sunflower paste to the top of the head. Finish the mouth with three sausages of Green modelling paste coming from the open mouth and 3 very small sausages on the opposite side of the mouth. 10 Glue the cow's head to the body. Roll a cone from a pea sized ball of Sunflower paste, push a small ball tool into the wide end and glue in place under the cow's chin. See more

14.01.2022 Never fear, the Ipswich Cake Decorators Association is still here! Due to Covid 19 restrictions, It is currently not possible for us to meet at the church hall, but rest assured we have managed to keep holding our meetings behind the scenes. Unfortunately, we cannot be certain of our venue each month, so this means we will not be able to accomodate any new members at this time. Please be patient with us though, we will let you all know when we are in full swing again. ... Please keep following our facebook page for future updates!
