In the CHRU - Central Highlands Rugby Union, Blackwater Basil...isks secured an impressive 46-10 win over Capella Cattledogs Rugby Union, in FNQ Rugby, Wanderers Cairns Rugby Union Club secured a narrow 21-20 win over reigning Premiers JCU Mariners Rugby Union Football Club, in TDRU - Townsville and District Rugby Union, Teachers West Rugby Union Club notched 45 points against North Ward while for Downs Rugby Limited, Toowoomba Rangers Rugby Union Club sent an early message to the rest of the Risdon Cup after a brilliant second half performance saw the team score 28 unanswered points to secure a 35-7 win over USQ Saints Rugby Community Club, with the game being drawn at 7-all at half-time.
