20.01.2022 The KuKu Yalanji language is alive and well at Mossman State School with their school sign featuring the artwork of local Indigenous artist Binna Swindley and the local Indigenous language. Since then, the school has received a lot of public support and love, and has incorporated the artwork and the KuKu Yalanji language into rebranding their school. They have installed more signage within the school with different messages on them including bilingual behaviour expectations signs.
