14.01.2022 Fun fact - Rylands BBQ Obsession was both the first-ever Weber Store in Australia and also the first store to reach out to QGB and stock our lump charcoal! We found out this week that the owner and top bloke Shane, is officially hanging up the apron and tongs. But before he goes waltzing off into retirement, QGB wanted to say a big 'Thank You!' to the first person who took a chance on us. We look forward to hearing of your adventures touring around Australia and hope you'll g...et a chance to drop into QGB headquarters for a pitstop The Que scene in Townsville won't be the same and Shane has left some big shoes to fill, but we're sure those stepping up won't disappoint. BBQ's, furniture, sheds, storage, shade...you name it they've got it! Both stores are also stocking QGB lump charcoal, with a new shipment on its way to Brisbane today!

04.01.2022 Back in October 2018, QGB officially registered as a business. So we've made it to the 2-year mark It sure hasn't been a cruisy couple of years, learning our fair share of lessons along the way. Whether it is figuring transport and logistics around Queensland, sourcing equipment good enough to handle Gidgee timber or how to avoid charcoal fires as the product cools and stabilises (yep, some wild stories to be told about that!), every challenge has seen our business grow and improve. In saying that, we have also been very fortunate to face these challenges with support from family, friends, passionate folks in the Que scene and many loyal customers! So to you all, thanks for the last couple of years and your continued support in the next chapter
