18.01.2022 The Executive, and Members, of the Callide Dawson Machinery Preservation Club Inc. sincerely regret to advise, that as a result of the heightened restrictions o...n public gatherings imposed by the Government, and the current health directives being issued with respect of COVID-19, the Club has decided to postpone the 19th Annual Old Wheels In Motion Rally (scheduled for the 18th & 19th July, 2020). The health, safety and well-being of all who planned to attend our annual event will always be paramount, and as such, there could be no other decision made at this time. We know that this will come as incredibly disappointing news to all our exhibitors, attendees, volunteers and the hardworking rally committee, but we can now focus on making the 2021 event something to truly remember. So, please continue to watch this space for further news and updates. Please keep safe during these uncertain times!!

04.01.2022 The Executive of the Callide Dawson Machinery Preservation Club Inc. have made today, yet another tough decision in light of the ever-increasing COVID-19 Government/Health restrictions. We regretfully advise that in the Queensland Heritage Park complex, including the Post & Rail Cafe, the Rural Hinterland Visitor Information Centre and the 48 Hour Rest Area will close for business at 4.00pm Friday 27th March, 2020. This closure will remain in place until further notice. Please note that this decision was not made lightly. The health, safety and well-being of all who work, visit, stay and enjoy our facilities will always be paramount, and we feel at this time, this is the best course of action to be taken.

02.01.2022 We regret to advise that we will be closing the Queensland Heritage Park 48 Hour Rest Area as at 4.00pm Friday, 27th March, 2020. This closure will remain in place until further notice. The health, safety and well-being of our volunteers and visitors will always be paramount and this closure seems to be the most sensible thing that we can do to assist the fight against COVID-19.

01.01.2022 Wishing you all a very Happy, Healthy, Prosperous New Year. May 2020 bring the strength and fortitude to face the challenges of the year. May it also bring relief from the drought and fires affecting our country, and time to focus on the importance of family and community during these difficult times.
