11.01.2022 BSMQ has been advised by the Department of Home Affairs (HA) that it will not be in a position to open the 2020/21 migration program on 1 July 2020. As a conse...quence, BSMQ’s business and skilled migration program will remain closed on 1 July 2020 until further notice. Please note: BSMQ will not be accepting any Expressions of Interests (EOIs) submitted on Skillselect from 1 July 2020. We will post an advice on this website, should the situation change. BSMQ appreciates your patience in these challenging COVID-19 times. We thank you for your commitment to Queensland and look forward to opening the business and skilled migration program as soon as is possible.

05.01.2022 LATEST NEWS BSMQ SKILLED PROGRAM SUBCLASS 491 VISA CLOSED (FROM 5PM AEST 15 June 2020) The Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) subclass 491 is closed for new ...EOIs from 5pm AEST 15 June 2020. This includes the 491 Small Business Owners (SBO) program. Applicants who have been invited to lodge documents will still be processed, up until 30 June 2020. If you do not receive a nomination by 30 June 2020, it will mean that you will need to submit a new EOI once our program opens again. BSMQ has not yet received advice from Home Affairs in regards to Queensland’s nomination allocation for FY20-21 and when we will be able to re-open the business and skilled program. Once we receive advice on nomination allocation, we will post details to the BSMQ homepage and across our social media channels. Please do not call or email in regards to the re-opening of the program or where your application is in the queue, as this significantly impacts processing times.
