Luke Andrew Cole of Cole Custom is a Queensland Local custom knifemaker, timber stabiliser and jeweller pushing that renaissance ethos of creativity in many fields. 17.01.2022 Shaun of Hannay Hand Forged Knives has had a fascination with knives and becoming a cook from an early age. Shaun found that when he did acquire knives to use, they never lived up to his expectations which led him to do a knifemaking course with Paul Arestan. From there Shaun was hooked and, with the guidance of Paul, has continued his knifemaking journey continually striving to improve his skills. 16.01.2022 The Australian Knife Art Association has made the decision to cancel the 2020 Queensland Knife Show. We were planning for the best case scenario but unfortunately have been advised against proceeding at this time for the safety of our staff, exhibitors, demonstrators and attendees. We appreciate that the decision to cancel the 2020 Queensland Knife Show will be a disappointment for which we sincerely apologise. We will now re-schedule the next Queensland Knife Show for the 3rd and 4th of April 2021.

With the announcement from Australian Government to ban gatherings with more than 500 people, the Australian Knife Art Association has made the decision to postpone the 2020 Queensland Knife Show and now hold it on the 3rd and 4th of October 2020. We felt this was the right decision to mitigate and help prevent the spread of the virus at this time. We appreciate that the decision to postpone the Queensland Knife Show will be a disappointment for which we sincerely apologise.
