14.01.2022 Hi folks, Although all of us love that exceptional find, when it comes to trading whisky there are certain laws provided by the Government of Australia, The unlicensed exchange of alcohol for currency is illegal. We do not allow any peer to peer sales of whisky, any post or comment that can be construed as a member / follower trying to sell a bottle will be deleted &, if it continues, will result in the poster being blocked from the page. ... Admin reserves the right to delete any post & block any member without any explaination required.

13.01.2022 So, a funny thing about our tasting on Saturday night: While organising the order of the whiskies it's been discovered that 3/5 of the whiskies are no less than 55% alcohol. Not that that's important, though...

09.01.2022 Hi all, some big news for Australian Whisky. We'd like to announce a collaboration between DF, AWAS & QMWS, we're calling it The Whisky Collective. What is The Whisky Collective you say?.... I'm glad you asked.. it's a joint project where we work with local producers to raise awareness of great Australian Whisky Distilleries while also giving our members the chance at securing some very limited bottles of premium, hand selected Australian Whisky. Each bottling will have custom labling & have passed a joint panel of tasters, to make sure we showcase the best each distillery has to offer. We'll be looking at two casks a year at this stage, once every six months, but we'll see how things go. We hope you join with us as we continue our whisky journey!

The Managing Committe have some unforeseen issues to address before we can continue. Members will be given proper notice by email if any meetings are required. We apologise for the interruption.
