16.01.2022 Queensland Rail Travel proudly supports #NAIDOC2020 Always Was, Always Will be. NAIDOC Week is a significant event celebrated at Queensland Rail to acknowledge the history, culture and achievements of First Nations (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander) Peoples and their contributions to the community.... To protect First Nations Elders and vulnerable communities from COVID-19, we held a virtual smoking ceremony which allowed more of our employees across our diverse network to share in this experience - see some clips below!

15.01.2022 Carnarvon Gorge... The Moss Garden is a hidden gem in the Carnarvon Gorge section of Carnarvon National Park, located in central Queensland's Sandstone Wilderness - halfway between Emerald and Roma. Water from the sandstone walls trickles onto a lush ground cover of ferns and moss, while a small waterfall adds to the magic of this spot. Check it out for yourself, next time you head west. @Tourism and Events Queensland

09.01.2022 Our life is a constant journey. The landscape changes, the people change, but the train keeps moving. Life is the train, not the station. Paulo Coelho #friday #queenslandrailtravel #intotheweekend

01.01.2022 Thanks for sharing your review of the Spirit of Queensland with us on Tripadvisor, Travelulrike (20 Sep 2020) "...The best we kept until last. We booked a sleeper from Cairns to Brisbane, a 24 hr journey. We loved it, the pods (like business class seats on planes) were very comfortable, had a big screen to watch movies/documentaries. Meals were brought to our seats with wine or beer, and for dinner and lunch we had choices. It was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. At night the staff made up our beds with white linen, fluffy doona and 2 pillows. I slept really well." @railvan.falcon12703
