24.01.2022 Arthur Hayes has recently updated his Westgate - South Western Rail blog site with an article on Train 6678. Train 6678 was a regular freight service between ...Brisbane and Toowoomba during the 1980’s and 1990’s, and HWO wagons were normally in it’s consist. Arthur’s article features many of the loads that the HWO’s carried, and will provide many modellers with inspiration for adding loads to the CGL Models HWO wagons. http://westgateswr.blogspot.com.au/2018/04/

18.01.2022 It is now less than 2 weeks to the Brisbane Model Train Show, and we are pleased to announce that there will be several new additions to the Queensland Scale models range planned for release at the show. Further information on the new releases will be announced in the days leading up to the show. In the meantime, we would like to share with you some photographs of two spectacular Queensland themed layouts that have debuted over the past few months. Both of these layouts inc...orporate some of the items currently manufactured by Queensland Scale Models, and show the full potential of the products from the QSM Trackside Accessory and Building Range. Dagun is an exhibition layout owned by Anthony Veness. The station name boards and rain water tank at Dagun are QSM products from our Trackside Accessory Range. Mosquito Creek is owned by Bob Harding. Bob modified one of our Templeton Station Building Kits for the station at Mosquito Creek. Bob’s modifications to the kit included a rear entrance to the passenger waiting area of the building, and new window awnings on the rear of the building. Other buildings on the layout from the QSM Queensland Building Range are the station building and goods shed at Mudtapilly. The station name boards at Mosquito Creek, Mudtapilly, and Anthill Plains (a third station on this layout) were also supplied by Queensland Scale Models.
