15.01.2022 ANOTHER QUEENSLAND TONGA REP GRADUATES INTO THE INTERNATIONAL ARENA The Queensland Tonga Rugby family would like to congratulate Queensland Tongan NRC Souths Premier Grade prop Feao Fotuaika on being selected in the Tonga A squad. The quietly spoken but talented prop has come right through the ranks via age grade reps, Premier Rugby and NRC and his selection is great reward for years of hard work. ... Feao’s selection caps a great few weeks for the Fotuaika family as younger brother Moeaki also recently made his debut for the Gold Coast Titans in the NRL. Feao follows a number of Queensland Tongans who have recently gone onto International duty with the Tongan National team like Dave Feao, Phil Ma’u Kite, and Maile Ngauamo. 09.01.2022 ***** #Throwback - Logan Inala clutch play that sends them on to win 2016 Tupi Cup**** While the new QTRU regime under the new leadership of Taniela Fualalo and Tim Tavalea is taking shape, lets take a look at a little #Throwback from the 2016 Tupi Cup. The game is winding down with just over 5 minutes to play. At stake is a place in the 2016 Tupi Cup Grand Final against the North Tongan Barbarians. ... Alamuhu has had a tough campaign so far, but as expected the experience and hard edge that has made them the most successful Tongan team in the Queensland Tongan community is beginning to come to the fore, in the most important part of the game and tournament. With Alamuhu down 12-7, Logan Inala is hot on the attack looking to put the defending champions to bed. Logan Inala begin to exploit a 5 on 1 overlap down the left side, and speedster Kalavite Kaloni rolls the dice and goes for the intercept. The Alamuhu winger takes the intercept on his own 22 metre line and sets off! Everyone in attendance believes, the winger is surely on his on way to putting the the red, white and black of Alamuhu ahead with the clock ticking down and put Logan Inala on to the back foot. Logan Inala's Paula Katoa does'nt get the memo and completes the clutch play of the tournament that arguably sets up Logan Inala's eventual run to the 2016 crown.

The Narbonne prop will officially graduate into full international duties after being selected in the Ikale Tahi squad alongside 5 other debutants.
