18.01.2022 Meet Ned Heaton a young 13-year-old eco-entrepreneur. Ned is on a mission to help reduce ocean plastics, so he started his own bamboo toothbrush business when he was 11. His company helps educate and empower Australians to reduce their plastic waste and ultimately reduce plastic pollution in our oceans.... To help Aussies make the switch, Ned has pledged to give away 1 million bamboo toothbrushes, calling them a ‘catalyst consumable’ that reminds us twice a day, every day, to reduce our plastic use. You can listen to Ned at the upcoming Sustainability and Science Showcase, where he will be one of the key speakers at the ‘How to reduce waste in your home’ forum.
