24.01.2022 Today the workers on-site came together and lay down tools at 11am to remember those that have fought for us and made the ultimate sacrifice. They will not be forgotten.

Brisbane Lions banners have gone up on the Queen's Wharf tower cranes and kids are encourage to enter a competition to name the 9 cranes on-site. 23.01.2022 We are well and truely pushing into 2021 and we can now offically say Queen's Wharf Brisbane will open next year. That statement has been many years in the making. We are sharing the last monthly time-lapse video of 2020 and its clear to see the integrated resort taking shape. Plently of steel and concrete coming onto site, all locally fabricated. Our Visitor Centre is open and making coffee each weekday from 8am so please drop in and learn more about what we are building for Queensland.

23.01.2022 An exciting milestone yesterday as Probuild started installing the precast concrete steps for the Mangrove Terrace. In late 2022 you can sit and enjoy prime waterfront positioning from these steps.



22.01.2022 September's time-lapse video shows just how quickly the development is rising. The lift cores now sit well above the surrounding heritage buildings and concrete pours are a daily occurrence. Drop in to our Visitor Centre to learn more about what's happening on-site.

21.01.2022 Congratulations Fitzgerald! Today our bridge contractor successfully completed the last South Bank bridge abutment pile. From next week they will move into the river to start on the mid-river pier.



21.01.2022 With piling to start soon on the South Bank end of the Neville Bonner Bridge, come to our Visitor Centre to see the design of the pedestrian bridge for yourself and understand how it will connect Brisbane's CBD to the Cultural Forecourt. Our model, which is 3m wide, provides a great way to learn how Queen's Wharf will transform Brisbane when it opens in 2022.

19.01.2022 We are happy to announce that the 12 piles that will support the mid-river pier of the 320-metre Neville Bonner Bridge are now in place. Piling for the landing at South Bank is complete so attention will now turn to constructing the pedestrian bridge that will open in 2022 with the integrated resort and connect South Bank to the CBD.

19.01.2022 Work to transform the public space under the Riverside Expressway continues. Temporary fencing has begun to be installed along the bikeway and under the Riverside Expressway between Victoria Bridge and the main Queen's Wharf construction site. 16.01.2022 Have you met Alix? Alix runs our Visitor Centre on the corner of George and Alice Sts and would love you to drop in and say hello. While you’re there you can discover what the precinct will deliver to Brisbane by exploring our precinct model and trying our VR display. It's also a great place to stop and enjoy a coffee at our cafe on the deck and watch the world go by.

12.01.2022 Today we hosted a Friday Famil group as part of QTIC's Destination IQ Conference. We were fortunate enough to have Madonna Thomson from Nyanda Cultural Tours join us and talk the group through the Indigenous designs that she helped create that grace our Mangrove Walk. It was such an informative tour learning about our First Nations people and how they interacted with Country that is now called Brisbane.

12.01.2022 Did you notice something different about the former DPI heritage building when you drove along this Riverside Expressway today? It is being covered in white tarps ahead of the scheduled fumigation by the Consortium for West Indian Drywood Termites to ensure the long-term future of the building. The whole process should be complete by mid-next week, but for now it almost looks like the building is dressing up for Halloween.

11.01.2022 October's video clearly shows the integrated resort taking shape with the lift cores continuing to raise level by level. The podium level on the river side is now obvious above The Star Grand porte cochere off William St with the blue and red coloured structural steel helping to create the form. Drop into our Visitor Centre for more details on the final design.

11.01.2022 To transform a previously underutilised area of riverfront we will establish 20,000 plants and 300 trees to create a green playground on the north bank of the river.

10.01.2022 Exciting news. Piling has started at South Bank on the Neville Bonner Bridge that will connect the cultural forecourt to the integrated resort and the CBD. Opening in late 2022, you’ll see the pedestrian bridge take shape as it’s assembled from the river.

10.01.2022 Steady does it ... precast concrete sections being lifted into position on The Landing. In the future you will have access to 6,500 m2 of public green space in this area.

09.01.2022 Have you walked along the Mangrove Walk? This beautiful 450m stretch of river walk was opened in October last year and meanders from the Goodwill Bridge to behind 1 William Street. Along the way you'll encounter Indigenous designs and storytelling, bird hides and some lovely surprising artwork. Do yourself a favour and soak up some wonderful Brisbane winter sun as you discover the Queen's Wharf Mangrove Walk.

06.01.2022 Now that the piling for the Neville Bonner Bridge is complete at South Bank, attention has turned to the mid-river pier. This is the first 35m pile being positioned mid-river. This 50 tonne pile will sink well into the rock below the river sediment.

05.01.2022 It was only a couple of months ago that we reconnected William Street and the development climbed to that level. Now we have the first slab poured at George Street level . Things are changing fast.

03.01.2022 Did you notice a tower crane climb nearly 20 metres higher on Saturday? It took a team of 6 workers, 18 tower sections and 4 hours to ‘climb the crane’. The next time this crane is scheduled to climb will be early November. Stay tuned.
