25.01.2022 Lots of texture and earthy elements added in this weeks install completed for the loveliest of clients! They really wanted to inject colour without it overpowering the space. Adding warmth underfoot was paramount so it was out with the existing floor tiles and replaced with American Oak. Custom made sheers created a dappled effect with the morning sun streaming in. We added lots of texture in selecting a really practical dining rug that would take the knocks but sat beautifully with their chosen artwork and introduced softer elements in the living room for comfort. 24.01.2022 This renovation is coming along in leaps and bounds....on site today to deliver entry rugs and popped upstairs to check on the progress of our balcony overhaul... what a transformation! Swipe to check out the before pics... It was hard to imagine this could be achieved working at such great heights and the enormity of the task... but what an outcome ...we rid that space of the old heavy set black curved railing and replaced with frameless glass. The tiles were taken up and in... place we installed these super stylish Alaska outdoor tile in a French lay pattern. The walls have had a freshen up in @taubmans Tahira White which really enhances the coastal effect. 21.01.2022 Laundry renovation complete ... onto bathrooms! This was a challenge as the floor was not only at different levels but made of different materials so the screeding process had to allow for the different surfaces. Expansion joints... when dealing with different levels they are the bomb! Simple clean lines were used with matte black accessories to work in with other fixtures throughout the home. Awaiting some storage cabinetry for the extra long toilet space and this space ...will be complete. 16.01.2022 Every now and then a project comes along where you get to really design something that is exciting, challenging and once installed... rewarding! These vertical slats that go from basement on the third level right through to top floor make an impact. In collaboration with Micah and Craig from @ecovisionhomes we had to ensure the integrity of the vertical beams would hold, not bow but stay in one continuous line staying true to the original design. 09.01.2022 Very exciting new project underway in the leafy suburb of Palmyra where these clients are all but demolishing the existing home, keeping some of the external framework. A great time to get a designer on board to help with selections, optimise all decisions on finishes, fittings, lighting plans and to cast an eye over bathroom and kitchen layouts before plumbing works commence. New flooring will be a combination of poured concrete and original jarrah boards stained in Black... Japan. This young family wanted a colour palette to keep things feeling spacious and airy ... enter raw birch ply. This seemed a fitting material to use for this young family - super cool and casual feel to compliment the flooring.
