05.01.2022 We recently had the honour of Ivan Philips, a White Ribbon Ambassador and known for his cross country motorcycle rides on behalf of ‘Riding Free of DV’, stay with us. We would like to share his story: In 2007 my daughter, Tash, was murdered as a result of sustained vicious domestic violence attacks. Tash left us a beautiful 7 year old son, Josh, and a grieving family. To lose a child under any circumstance is heartache but to know that a perpetrator was involved, unfathomab...le. I did a Forest Gump and undertook an epic and ambitious project of riding and motorcycle solo around the circumference of Australia to promote with White Ribbon Cause and raise awareness the Real Men do NOT hit women. Some 15,800kms or the distance between Adelaide and Stockholm and I made it. I am an accredited White Ribbon Ambassador and now raise funds through my Iron Butt Rides for Women who do not have a voice and are in immediate dangers.
