16.01.2022 Dear Makers, We are pleased to see the announcement by state government concerning the lifting of restrictions on community spaces, I have currently called for ...the board to meet as soon as practical to discuss the way forward. We will look to our volunteer community to see their availability and comfort in helping operate the Makerspace within the limits of the current level. While we may not be in a position to open our doors this week, I would hope in the weeks to come that we will be able to provide access for our makers and members again to use our space with the set limits. In the meantime, if you want to support us then become a member or pay it forward! We have franchisees and staff in the network operating across all major regions i...n Australia, many of whom serve and are part of the communities affected by these dreadful bushfires. As such, we are coordinating our stakeholders' support by raising funds for the Australian Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery Fund. This will provide support to evacuation centres and recovery hubs, as well as ongoing support for victims living in the communities in which we operate.
