25.01.2022 Well, certainly wasn't expecting that! Great job by all the NSKC crew and officials to have the final meeting of the year completed before 1pm, giving everyone an early mark to avoid the heat. Well done! The only down-side was no practice session, so no grid photos for most classes, but I can live with that ;) http://www.quickpixels.com.au/galleries-3/ That's a wrap for this season, no more photos for me until next year. 20.01.2022 IMPORTANT UPDATE: So. Turns out I will be attending the AKC meeting at Newcastle next weekend and not the State Titles event at Port Macquarie as I originally planned. With two photographers already confirmed for States, it didn't seem sensible to add one more. Then, when I was offered the position of official photographer for the AKC meeting, that certainly swayed my decision. I would love to attend both, but physics and reality dictate otherwise. Sorry to disappoint those who were anticipating purchasing my photos from States, but at least there will be other photographers in attendance. On the other hand, those attending AKC will now have someone to capture all the action, so definitely looking forward to that. Newy, here we come!!

20.01.2022 It rained for all of 5 minutes for last weekend's first round of the NSKC 2020 club championship, but it was enough to catch a few dynamic action shots. The rest of the photos weren't too bad either ;) Previews are now ready to view on my site. This weekend it's deja vu, back out to the same location, but this time for the KNSW Gala Day and the first round of the WKRC championship at a "new" track. Should be interesting... 17.01.2022 Photos from the Indy 800 meeting last weekend are now available for purchase. See the link below for preview photos. Please note that I have decided to bring this and all future Indy 800 rounds into line with what I charge for other meetings ($50 per driver). Originally I decided to reduce my prices for Indy 800 rounds because the night racing meant I didn't get as many photos as daytime meetings. However, now that I have purchased a new lens specifically to address the lack ...of light at these meetings, the number of photos should be on par with other meetings. Hope everyone understands this, as I try to keep my prices as low as possible. That said, this will likely be my last race meeting for a while if current health conditions play out as expected. Been an interesting year to say the least, but in a lot of ways I will be glad to see the back of it!

12.01.2022 After a slightly postponed start to the year, Lithgow kicked off my 2020 season with the February meeting. All the preview photos are now posted for you to view at your leisure. There are a handful of presentation photos that did not turn out after my camera glitched. My apologies to those concerned. I should've checked at the time but didn't realise until I got home and sorted through them. Looks like I'm still a bit rusty after 3 months off! Out to Eastern Creek this weekend for the first NSKC round for the season. Hopefully the rain will hold off and my boots don't end up covered in mud!

11.01.2022 Great to see the KZs back out on the track last weekend at Lithgow. All the preview photos are now posted on my site. Some of the grid pics came out a bit dark, but nothing I can't fix in Photoshop ;) http://www.quickpixels.com.au/galleries-3/ Big field of TAG Restricted bodes well for the State Titles next month, so looking forward to that. But before then it's back out to the Creek this weekend for some night racing - time to break out the 'special' lens again for those extra dark photos. Should be fun.

09.01.2022 Photos from the TEKA 6 Hour enduro last weekend are now posted on my site. Unfortunately being in the middle of such a busy weekend I wasn't able to stick around for all the action, so I only have photos up until the red flag came out. As such I am only charging $30 per kart. 07.01.2022 It felt very strange to be the only photographer at an AKC meeting, but this whole year has been a bit strange! A very exhausting and equally rewarding weekend for the 2nd round of the AKC at Newcastle last weekend. I had intended to announce at this stage that the preview photos are all uploaded, but my internet is dragging its heels... Might have something to do with the amount of photos I am force-feeding it ;) Anyway, junior photos are now up on my site: http://www.quickpixels.com.au/galleries-3/ I hope to have the senior photos up by midnight, or early tomorrow morning at the latest. 05.01.2022 Busy weekend with the Karting NSW Gala Day weekend at Eastern Creek, kicking off with the 4SKA 6 Hour race. Preview photos are now uploaded to my site, link below. 04.01.2022 Definitely the trickiest conditions I have seen for a while at Newcastle last weekend for the second and final round of the Metro Cup. Not only the rain, but the wind blowing it directly into the lens, making focus difficult. Then my main lens decided to malfunction (yes, again!) which actually vindicated my decision to haul around my insanely heavy other lens in my pack as a backup... Fun times! http://www.quickpixels.com.au/galleries-3/ Looking forward to a weekend off to recover from the hectic last few weekends of big meetings. My next event will be either State Titles at Port, or Newcastle again for AKC. Have not decided yet... Any suggestions?

03.01.2022 I'M BAAAAACK!!! It's been a few months, but finally made it out to the track again. Lithgow was its usual chilly self, and a bit wet to start with but eventually dried out.
