05.01.2022 Safety Award of the Quarter has been presented to Darren Davison from our Utilities Division. Darren was instrumental in the successful set-up of one of our current projects in Sydney. His contribution has included his innovative thinking which resulted in the creation of a Davit Arm Safety Rescue System, as well as a Post Office Box, which acts as a central assembly point and storage area for all required safety equipment for the site. These boxes now feature at 10 locatio...ns throughout the project, as requested by the client. As well as a safety initiative, the Davit Arm System has resulted in increased productivity, as the alternative (setting up of tripods) can be a time-consuming activity. Our client on the project have recognised Darren on many occasions because of his professional manner, ability to problem solve, deliver works to a high standard, and ensure that personnel remain safe at all times by putting in place a clear no harm protocol. He is someone who has become a well-known face of Quickway since the beginning of our works on the project.
