24.01.2022 My life is rooted in the breath and the Being that I AM. Breath is the bridge Between the body and the Being that I AM Breath is my connection between subconsc...ious inner body And super conscious Being that I AM. Life begins with first breath in Ends with last breath out. Breath is the life that happens Between birth and death Breath is first and last link to my life. My breath is the primary connection to my life. The breath is partially involuntary And partially voluntary. Voluntary gives me access To the involuntary subconscious innate intelligent. With voluntary breath you can manage your mind. The breath is intimately connected to your thinking mind and the feeling body. Master your Breath, Master you mind. ~ Poetry and Photo compliments of Gurudev Shri Amritji See more

23.01.2022 But no matter the medicinal virtues of being a true friend or sustaining a long close relationship with another, the ultimate touchstone of friendship is not improvement, neither of the other nor of the self, the ultimate touchstone is witness, the privilege of having been seen by someone and the equal privilege of being granted the sight of the essence of another, to have walked with them and to have believed in them, and sometimes just to have accompanied them for however brief a span, on a journey impossible to accomplish alone. 22.01.2022 Gratitude is the understanding that many millions of things come together and live together and mesh together and breathe together in order for us to take even one more breath of air, that the underlying gift of life and incarnation as a living, participating human being is privilege, that we are part of something, rather than nothing. - David Whyte #myquietspace #quietspaceweekly #IAMyoganidra #gratitude #quietspaceyoga www.quietspaceyoga.com.au

22.01.2022 Yoga Nidra: The Art of Transformational Sleep by Author - Desai, Kamini Yoga Nidra is the master key to initiating shifts in conscious sleep states where chan...ge happens outside of doing. In Yoga Nidra you enter a state of non-doing in which transformation happens from beyond the mind rather than through the mind. In this highly regenerative meditative state you can restore and rejuvenate your body, heal and recover from illness and re-wire your brain for greater mental and emotional balance and resiliency. This comprehensive guidebook explores the core of Yogic philosophy and modern applications of Yoga Nidra backed by scientific research - affirming what Yogis have known for thousands of years. You will receive instruction on the practice of Yoga Nidra and the use of intention. You will discover how unconscious thinking patterns and resulting biochemical states contribute to ill health, stress, insomnia, depression, anxiety, bad habits, trauma and addictions and most importantly, how to neutralize them with the Six Tools of Yoga Nidra. 21.01.2022 We are rested when we are a living exchange between what lies inside and what lies outside, when we are an intriguing conversation between the potential that lies in our imagination and the possibilities for making that internal image real in the world; we are rested when we let things alone and let ourselves alone, to do what we do best, breathe as the body intended us to breathe, to walk as we were meant to walk, to live with the rhythm of a house and a home, giving and ta...king through cooking and cleaning. 21.01.2022 R E S T is the conversation between what we love to do and how we love to be. Rest is the essence of giving and receiving; an act of remembering, imaginatively and intellectually but also physiologically and physically. To rest is to give up on the already exhausted will as the prime motivator of endeavor, with its endless outward need to reward itself through established goals. ... To rest is to give up on worrying and fretting and the sense that there is something wrong with the world unless we are there to put it right; to rest is to fall back literally or figuratively from outer targets and shift the goal not to an inner static bulls eye, an imagined state of perfect stillness, but to an inner state of natural exchange. 19.01.2022 A deep experience of rest is the template of perfection in the human imagination, a perspective from which we are able to perceive the outer specific forms of our work and our relationships whilst being nourished by the shared foundational gift of the breath itself. From this perspective we can be rested while putting together an elaborate meal for an arriving crowd, whilst climbing the highest mountain, moving a herd of sheep along a Cumbrian country lane or sitting at home..., surrounded by the chaos of a loving family. 12.01.2022 "You are not here to save anyone. You are not alive to save the world. Life is not a rescue mission. Your purpose is to CREATE the world you want to live in, to resource the unlimited, infinite, eternal qualities of the soul and BE all you're here to be.... The infrastructure of divine imagination opens your world to infinite possibilities of creation. Your job is to step into your high, holy purpose + CREATE the world you're called to live in from that place. Don't focus on the world falling apart at its seams. Death is inevitable a necessary part of creation. Let what isn't working fall apart, decompose, destruct. Hold fast to your soul-led vision and CREATE the world you're here to live in. Your inner wisdom, your truest voice is the only one that really matters. Answer your call and become the beacon you're here to to be. Stop trying to fix and rescue the world. Your soul already knows that all is well. Listen to and trust it. Everything is always unfolding in divine and perfect order, even if you can't pinpoint exactly what it is. This is where surrender + trust come in. Trust is a choice. Be willing to be wiling to be willing to be a revolutionary change agent, simply by being your most true self. It's literally all you're here to do." ~ L'Erin Alta

12.01.2022 Your body hears everything you say and feel. Studies show that positive emotions strengthen the immune system and negative ones weaken it. 10.01.2022 GROUND is what lies beneath our feet. It is the place where we already stand; a state of recognition, the place or the circumstances to which we belong whether we wish to or not. It is what holds and supports us, but also what we do not want to be true; it is what challenges us, physically or psychologically, irrespective of our hoped for needs. It is the living, underlying foundation that tells us what we are, where we are, what season we are in and what, no matter what we... wish in the abstract, is about to happen in our body, in the world or in the conversation between the two. To come to ground is to find a home in circumstances and in the very physical body we inhabit in the midst of those circumstances and above all to face the truth, no matter how difficult that truth may be; to come to ground is to begin the courageous conversation - to step into difficulty and by taking that first step, begin the movement through all difficulties - to find the support and foundation that has been beneath our feet all along: a place to step onto, a place on which to stand and a place from which to step. ... 05.01.2022 Awareness is an art of yielding. Let go of what is gone. Let go of what is going. Let go of what is not yet here. This opens the door for you to be Here and Now.... What has happened in the past What will happen in future Lives in the mind. The past and future that manifest through your memories and your mind has no real existence. If it is not here, it is nowhere. If it is here, it is everywhere. Accept what is as is. Its neither for you nor against you. What appears to be against you is in the eye of a perceiver that you are. The seer in you is the creator of what you see. You are the seer subject. What appears in the object is your creation. What is happening is neither for you nor against you. You are creating what it means to you. It is not what is happening out there. The beauty is in the eye of the beholder. -Amrit Desai See more

05.01.2022 "Although it is easy to view our inner yoga practices as esoteric and disconnected from the situations and issues we deal with in our lives, we soon discover that the more we practice, the more easily we tap into the vast reservoir of resources within us. The same source of creativity that grows the leaves on the trees, and moves the moon and the ocean also choreographs a whole cosmos of cells in your body" ~ Chameli Gad Ardagh Awakening Women Institute

05.01.2022 #screensoffsunday Do you wholeheartedly have regular time off your screens and devices? The past few Sundays I have been switching off my phone and it's been incredible! ... The first week I clearly noticed the addiction to checking it. Empty space and turning to my phone to fill the void. The absence of mindless scrolling. A lot of SPACE that felt quite uncomfortable at points. I noticed the need to respond to people immediately when in reality nothing is going to break down, no worlds collided due to my delayed responses. When I did finally let go into the space available it was a beautiful coming home. To my book, to cooking, to the simplicity to breath, to being fully there with Reece. . . . . Give it a try! Start small 10 min, 1 hour, 2 hours.....whatever is manageable and see what happens. Notice how you respond. CHOOSE to be present with your loved ones, CHOOSE to actively participate in the world around you.

05.01.2022 In the first state of rest is the sense of stopping, of giving up on what we have been doing or how we have been being. In the second, is the sense of slowly coming home, the physical journey into the bodys un-coerced and un-bullied self, as if trying to remember the way or even the destination itself. In the third state is a sense of healing and self-forgiveness and of arrival. ... In the fourth state, deep in the primal exchange of the breath, is the give and the take, the blessing and the being blessed and the ability to delight in both. The fifth stage is a sense of absolute readiness and presence, a delight in and an anticipation of the world and all its forms; a sense of being the meeting itself between inner and outer, and that receiving and responding occur in one spontaneous movement.
