25.01.2022 The annual Hobart Doll show is coming up on August 24th and 25th at the Glenorchy Show grounds. I will have a stall this year to try to reduce my doll and quilt collection. I have found I have many quilts with dolls and other similar cute themes. Watch this space. I will find some pictures. I will thin out some half dolls and miniatures as well. Come and visit me because I never tire of chatting about my crafts.

25.01.2022 Not a quilt but a very long term embroidery project. Rather satisfying to finish though. Nice to have some fancy work to do now and then.

12.01.2022 Sommers Bay quilters worked hard on Saturday on our Xmas quilt. It has many pieces but with 2 machines whirring away we are getting there.

10.01.2022 Boys single bed quilt. More brownish than the photo looks. Trying to do more male colours but it is taking a mind shift.Might need a stash shift as well.

10.01.2022 A very successful Hat Creek Quilts workshop was hosted by Sommers Bay Quilters on November 11th. We are all enjoying adding some wool applique to our quilts. Always on the lookout for new ideas. Pictures of our latest charity quilt can be seen on Quilts By the Sea. We will enjoy an end of year afternoon tea at the Waterfront Cafe next Saturday December 2nd. combined with some planning for 2018. Past members and friends are welcome. Sommers Bay Quilters will be back hard at work on Saturday, January 13th, 2018
