25.01.2022 The gold-rush town of Clunes in central Victoria is still fairly intact. At Quince Farm, we add flavour to the Central Goldfields with this VINEGAR infused with THAI BASIL that has been grown in our own garden. Available at Talbot Provedore and Eatery, Talbot AND Longview Farm and Meats, Clunes.

23.01.2022 We are really proud of our quinces at Quince Farm this year. The quality is superb and the birds are holding back. Ceramics by Jon's God-daughter, @sophieblakeart. Our range of quince-based products is available only at Talbot Provedore and Eatery in Talbot, and at Longview Farm and Meats in Clunes. (No mail orders).

23.01.2022 Something different from the kitchen at Quince Farm, but this one is not for sale. Doug's first ever success with sour dough ... thank you Jane Cox for the sourdough starter.

18.01.2022 Yesterday was a busy day in the kitchen at Quince Farm, Clunes ... 22 jars of green tomato pickle plus 12 jars of quince jam. And what you can't see are the new-season's quinces slowly poaching in readiness for presentation in old-fashioned Fowlers bottles. Available soon at Talbot Provedore and Eatery, Talbot, and Longview Farm and Meats, Clunes.

16.01.2022 Figs baked with rosemary and macerated in port. The final product. Available soon at Talbot Provedore and Eatery, Talbot, and at Longview Farm and Meats, Clunes.

15.01.2022 An award to be really proud of ... congratulations!

13.01.2022 At Quince Farm at Clunes, as well as our quince trees producing good harvests every year, so do our Seville orange trees. And we put them together to make our popular Quince & Seville Orange Jelly. Background Quince picture credit: Steph Goss.

11.01.2022 The fig trees at Quince Farm are doing us proud this year. These are destined to be slow-baked on a bed of rosemary and then bottled in port.

08.01.2022 After having their "fur" washed off, these quinces in the kitchen at Quince Farm are then peeled, cored and cooked once. Then Jon bottles them with their syrup in readiness for the final stage before labeling. Available at Talbot Provedore and Eatery, Talbot, and at Long View Farm and Meats at Clunes. (Sorry, we don't do mail orders)

05.01.2022 It is such a privilege to be part of this progressive enterprise.

01.01.2022 While we are well blessed with plenty of frogs in our garden at Quince Farm, the ones inside our house came along to help promote our Roasted Garlic in Lemon-Thyme infused Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The Rojo de Castro garlic grows well here and is the perfect variety of garlic for roasting and bottling in the infused Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Available at Long View Farm and Meats in Clunes, and soon at Talbot Provedore and Eatery, Talbot.

01.01.2022 At Quince Farm, we provide many taste opportunities ... from our Seriously Hot kasoundi through to the sweet nectar of our fuschia bush, which is reserved for the New Holland honeyeaters in our garden. Quince Farm products are available at Talbot Provedore and Eatery, Talbot AND Longview Farm and Meats, Clunes. Picture credit: "Australian New Holland Honeyeater & Mistletoe" by Lyn Cooke.
