24.01.2022 The arseholes do this the same time they place on the WA Heritage List a fucking 1950s flower garden. Pretty, bur only a flower garden

24.01.2022 I have been worried this would happen for about twenty years

24.01.2022 And owned by greedy Chinese, who don't give a dry fuck about the local ecology

22.01.2022 WATER ON FIRE - Parts of the Condamine River in QLD are flammable.. This is most likely caused by migrating gas from nearby Coal Seam Gas projects. Landholders... in the area have never heard of or encountered gas leakages on this scale previously. Photo by local resident John Jenkyn. What do you think of that? LIKE to DISLIKE!

20.01.2022 FOREST PRODUCTS COMMISSION SUES HELMS ACTIVIST Thousands of dollars for protecting native forest Busselton, WA, In an unprecedented move, the Forest Products ...Commission has been awarded $5,000 in compensation in relation to protest activity on January 6 2015. Claire Anderson, 23, prevented logging in Helms forest, near Nannup for one day. Today she was found guilty of Committing a Nuisance on CALM Land and Obstructing Public Officers. Claire is a sustainability volunteer. $5,000 amounts to almost six months income for her. Helms forest, near Nannup is a critical site for releasing endangered cockatoos from nearby rehabilitation centre Jamarri. Ms Anderson said, "Everyone has a responsibility to stop this destruction of our forests. I'm doing this because all other avenues have failed, and without these sorts of peaceful protests our forests, and wildlife will be lost." Spokesperson Lian Sinclair said This new trend to effectively bankrupt peaceful protesters is a worrying development for our democratic rights in Western Australia it is also a warning sign about the new protest laws the Barnett Government introduced into parliament in March this year There was a large community backlash against the Barnett government in March when it introduced laws that could see peaceful protesters facing up to 24 months imprisonment or $24,000 in fines. The proposed laws also reverse the onus of proof meaning protesters are held guilty unless they can prove themselves innocent. Criminal Code Amendment (Prevention of Lawful Activity) Bill 2015 is currently in debate in the Upper House. See more

18.01.2022 Now we know where this pyro practice comes from - or is it a global glitch in man's brain? (Swaling is burning nature back to the ground when it tries to regrow a forest).

16.01.2022 This is what I have been fearing for a long time now, that due to Malcolm Turdball's global warming the northern part of the Gulf Stream is about to be switched off. Which means the warm waters from the tropics will no longer protect UK against bad winters NOTE, the WP article is one of the worst written bits of journalese shit I have read since I stopped reading anything owned by Murderoch. I suggest finding a search engine to show gulf stream movement. Hang on a moment, I ...will be back with one shortly http://go3project.com//how-to-change-the-gulf-stream-so-th

15.01.2022 This is serious, very serious. It is a trigger for me to re-engage with environmental work and documentation. The environment is the most crucial thing facing all of humanity at the moment. Compared to this sabotage against the very fabric of a lawful society otehr Abbottian annoyances pale into insignificance

14.01.2022 THE HORROR, THE HORROR Does anyone remember the halcyon, caring, environmentally friendly days of Tony Abbott? Sadly they are now gone PM Turdball has started b...y transferring water resources to the National Party. This means the potential end of the Coorong and Lake Alexandria. The water wrested back from farmers, including rice farmers in the second driest continent on Earth, will now be returned to Chinese owned farms further up the Darling Murray system For WA I fear this might mean that moron Nahine in WA may finally get his nasty little hands on the Yarragadee Aquifer for commercial use. The Yarragadee is NOT an inert body of water, it is crucial to the survival of forests, farming and the general well being of the Blackwood Valley And I note Turdball has not stopped the Abbott bombing of Syria. Belgium has the only real answer (re Dateline)

13.01.2022 The WA Govt is trying to evict Yawuru Traditional Owner Micklo Corpus from his protest camp outside a frack site in the Kimberley. Will you stand with Micklo by... emailing the WA Govt today asking them to prevent his eviction? http://bit.ly/1OjcoCB Please LIKE and SHARE to support Micklo in his efforts to protect country from fracking!

11.01.2022 UPDATE: Against growing scientific evidence, the government has just approved use of banned bee-harming neonicotinoids this autumn. Take action for bees! >> http://bit.ly/1De5Uoj Ask the environment secretary to reverse this dangerous decision here >> http://bit.ly/1De5Uoj

08.01.2022 This letter tells the story I have been trying to tell for some time (Note, I deplore the vile Photoshop assault on Dorothea Lange's photograph)

07.01.2022 Yet we keep choppin' down trees...

06.01.2022 I am not used to good news, so half of my cynical mind is waiting for the "Now for the bad news" line = Which shows how damaged I have become

06.01.2022 This needs to be spreadded, preferably shredded, very broadly as it can affect everyone. The ghost of Joe Goebels will be crying with envy (Joseph Goebels was the Third Reich's propaganda minister. He had a brilliant mind, but was not very nice)

03.01.2022 DREAD NEWS It appears the "biomass burner", to generate electricity by burning "forest waste" is to go ahead. Although there is denial from the industry it is certain that some old growth forest will be included As well as forest being destroyed for electricity production the timber mill waste, mill ends, we currently buy for kitchen stove fuel will very likely be grabbed by the burner... Even more of a concern is the fact that burning wood is one of the most polluting sources of smoke in existence

02.01.2022 A succinct summation of my nightmares and why I feel that . . .

01.01.2022 The forest protests in Western Australia coincided with my move to the South West Karri Forest Belt From 1994 to 2015, 21 years, the world population has increased from 5,661,086,346 to 7,324,782,225 , an increase of 1,763,695,879. I perceive no panic on these figures. Pteropoda are literally being dissolved in acidifying oceans, still I rear no panic screams. We have just had some of the hottest summers on record, but now we are moving into winter there is nothing to panic a...bout I acknowledge the importance and emotional power of our local forests for me and a very few friends, we must accept that SW WA forests are a tiny factor in the global disaster we are currently living in but not seeing The signs of our impending mass extinction go unremarked in the general media. I don't see that the $100,000 worth of media work being considered by some people in WA is going to change a fucking thing with the current state of media ownership and the sort of stupid obfuscation we tolerate from DPaW/FPC at a local level The other media problem to be overcome is the continuing Roman ploy of bread and circuses, now beer and porn which are helping to keep everyone asleep To clarify my comment above. Before any money is spent on a media person, something I was strongly advocating in the 1990s and 2000s, we have to consider what will wake the general population up and what media is available. The last bit is important as the media is grossly owned by a few dudes who have no interest in a continuing ecosystem (fuck knows what they think their kids will eat) Firstly we must own the media, all of it. The first person to answer how we achieve this will win a big bottle of Round-Up
