24.01.2022 Its all systems go here as we prepare table 7 of 8. Tables 4, 5 & 6 are drying off in the sun ready for delivery this Friday with the final deliveries just before Christmas along with Paul Dennis bar stools. The Clarkson Primary School took delivery of their podium this week and are thrilled with it. As we look towards next year we will be looking to take orders on any made to measure pallet furniture, jarrah or anything that might be donated or you would be happy to supply. Thank you all for your support. As school holidays start on Friday we will be getting a lot more done in the shed and will look forward to seeing you there.

23.01.2022 A terrific official launch at the Shed, a big thanks must go to the City of Wanneroo, Bunnings, Aldis Butler and Satterleys for helping us get to this great milestone...and now we expand, the membership and the premises.

21.01.2022 A huge thank you to everyone involved in this weekends activities. Fridays preparation, Saturdays BBQ at Bunnings, finishing off a few tables and todays BBQ at Satterleys Allara Estate in Eglinton. Its been an Inspiration! Onwards and upwards!

21.01.2022 A lot has been happening with the Quinns Mens Shed and we have a lot of activities planned over the next month. Last Friday Afternoon the unveiling of the Park Benches was held and we were asked to Cook a BBQ for the residents of Allara. This was a really good event and they were very pleased with the benches. Id like to say a very big thank you to all the members that helped out on the day.... This Saturday (10th November) we have a BBQ lined up at Aldi in Butler from 7.00am till about 4.00pm. Next Friday (16th November), we also have a BBQ with Bunnings at Clarkson from 7.00am till 4.00pm. If you could help out in any way it would be very much appreciated. 20.01.2022 The Quinns Mens Shed holds its meetings on the last Sunday of every month at the Quinns Sports Club. There is also the added bonus of live music and a carvery from around 4.30pm onwards which some members attend. Its great for the community and good value for money.

This proved to be a great day to promote our sheds existence in the local community and enquires were taken, on what membership could offer the Male residents of our surrounding suburbs.

18.01.2022 We're officially in a shed! Today we obtained the keys to the shed at Gumblossom Reserve...our joy was somewhat short lived, as no one knew how to turn the alarm off, but after a very long and trying time, the Quinns Men's Shed members have a new home. We have some minor repairs to make before moving in but we're excited to get the next phase underway.

17.01.2022 Notice of annual general meeting of the Quinns Mens Shed Inc. This is to advise you of the upcoming annual general meeting of the members of the Quinns Mens Shed Inc. The meeting will be held as follows: 2.30 p.m. on 27 June 2019, at 116, 36 Ocean Keys Boulevard, Clarkson. ... At the meeting, members will be asked to vote to: accept the minutes of the last special general meeting; accept the annual financial statements; endorse fees set for the 2019 financial year; elect officers and members of the Management Committee. No special resolutions will be proposed at this meeting. Members who have not yet paid their fees for the 2019 year are entitled to nominate for the Management Committee, and to nominate other members, but are not entitled to vote at the AGM unless their fees for the year have been paid before the start of the meeting. Under the terms of the Sheds Constitution, nominations election on the Management Committee must be made in writing and delivered to the Secretary before the start of the AGM. Nominations from the floor will only be taken if there are insufficient written nominations for a particular position.

16.01.2022 The Quinns Mens Shed has been given the use of a room at Satterley Land Sales Office on Aviator Boulevard, Clarkson. The room has very kindly been temporarily donated by the Satterley Property Group with kindest of help from Amy Blundell, Community Development Manager. The aim of the meeting room is for the Quinns Mens Shed to invite the community in general to come and chat, talk mens shed stuff over coffee/tea/biscuits and to discuss possible activities within the communit...y that the Shed can get involved in and spread our ideas further. Of priority at this time is the need for a new shed (having recently lost our tenure at The Clarkson Community High School) so the use of the meeting room, hopefully, will encourage more of the community to get involved, bringing with them knowledge of any available sheds/property that may be of use to us. 09.01.2022 The Quinns Mens Shed has some exciting news. We will begin hosting regular coffee and games mornings on Tuesdays from 10am-12pm for any and all who would like to come along and have a chat. The events will be held at the Community Hub at 21 Lansdowne Place, Merriwa.... The Shed is looking to expand its membership and Im hoping you can make it to their first coffee and board games morning on the 5th of June to meet everyone and check out what the Shed is all about. Who knows, you might even find a new home away from home and make new friends. Head on down to the Community Hub on Tuesday to discover what this fantastic community group has to offer.

05.01.2022 The City have been in touch with me about the Wednesday catch up at the Community Centre, we will have details of requirements by the end of this week.

02.01.2022 The lacquer has gone on the first table. After a bit of wet sanding it will be ready for delivery. We hope to deliver two tables a weekend over December. Also this week we have our BBQs with Satterley and Bunnings. As weve had a couple of unforeseen scheduling conflicts, we need people to put their hands up to volunteer on Saturday and/or Sunday for a couple of hours in the afternoon. Send us a message or contact Shane on 0412012238 Our joint project with Satterley at Cata...linas Community Garden is underway. If youre in the area, let us know as watering the garden only takes 10-20 minutes and any larger jobs well roster a morning or afternoon for it. In 2018 expect a few more BBQs at The Garden. There are other exciting developments coming this month as well as plenty of work to do so make yourselves available and get down to The Shed.
