12.01.2022 Please check your mooring lines We have just found this. It is not spliced right at all. It is made to look like it is. It has just been woven in a few times. A double braided splice is meant to be entering inside the rope atleast 2/3 of a splicing fid once it’s inside the core of the rope. Please be careful as this mooring line was ment to be able to hold a 47ft power boat. We unwound the whipping and just pulled the rope out.
