22.01.2022 With all the virus bugs in the air, help to keep the bugs at bay burning 100% pure essential oil blends of Chesty $18, Breath Easy $25 & Baby Care Nose and Chest $25 either in a diffuser or oil burner and if the bug is presently bombarding your family add 6-8 drops of these blends to a diffuser or 4-6 adult or 2-4 drops for child under 2 years drops in 10ml base oil (olive will do the trick if thats all you have) and apply to the back & chest night and day and apply to the bottom of the feet at bed time (putting socks on to keep oil from marking carpet and sheets & slipping on hard floors), All these blends are available at Massage On Main 22 Main St Lithgow. 08.01.2022 IAAMA AROMATHERAPY AWARENESS WEEK October 1 - 7 2015 October 2 - FLORAL LOVE Essential oils classified as Floral consist of those oils which are extracted from ...the flower such as Rose, Jasmine, Neroli, Ylang ylang, Chamomile and Lavender. Some florals are extracted via steam distillation where as the very delicate flowers such as jasmine are usually solvent or CO2 extracted. Most florals are middle notes and some, such as jasmine and rose, are highly prized by the perfume industry. Florals not only smell divine but they are wonderfully calming and soothing and great to use in times of stress and anxiety, particularly ylang ylang and neroli. Chamomile is gentle and particularly good for calming fractious babies and young children. Jasmine and rose are both fantastic additions to skin care products, particularly for dry and mature skin. Jasmine is great for supporting women during late pregnancy and childbirth and rose is helpful for healing emotional and psychological issues. Some florals such as jasmine, rose and neroli are very expensive and are often sold pre-diluted in jojoba. Oh, I almost forgot! With regards to the love aspect, jasmine, ylang ylang and rose are all aphrodisiacs and may help with issues surrounding sexuality such as impotence and frigidity. They all correspond to heart chakra with jasmine also corresponding to the sacral chakra.
