22.01.2022 Hello QDEC Competitors, We all have concerns about the possible very hot conditions on Sunday for our Training Competition. QDEC Committee will make a call early on Saturday morning (following DNSW policy) as to whether the weather will be unsafe for riding. If so, we will give you the opportunity for a refund of your entry fee (less a $1.50 admin fee) or the choice to leave it with us for your entry to our first training competition in 2021. If we are able to run the da...y, and you do choose to scratch, the usual (no) refund policy will be applied. We will notify riders by email and on this page. Regards QDEC Committee.

21.01.2022 Hi everybody please remember that it is harvest time so there will be heaps of trucks on Silo Rd. You must enter through the gate near the clubhouse to avoid getting tangled in the truck traffic.

13.01.2022 With the state of the grounds, the weather predictions and a few roads closed around the area we have decided to CANCELL our dressage event tomorrow. We believe it is the best option for the safety of our competitors and their horses.

12.01.2022 Hello QDEC Competitors/Members, As you may have predicted, we have decided to CANCEL our Members Training Competition this Sunday the 29th of November at our grounds in Werris Creek The QDEC Committee has decided that the extreme heat will make it unfair and unsafe for riders and horses competing. This decision is also in line with Dressage NSW policy for hot weather. ... This is the last scheduled event planned for this year so we will give you the choice of a refund of your entry fee (less a $1.50 admin fee) or to leave it with us for your entry to our first training competition in 2021. Once we confirm these dates and publish our event schedule we will allow you sufficient time to notify us of your intentions. On a final note, we would like to thank you all for your support this year and hope that everyone has a safe and happy festive period. We look forward to seeing you all in 2021 at one of our events. 10.01.2022 Don't forget to put the QDEC AGM on your calendar!! It is on Sunday the 18th of April at 12.30pm at the club grounds. Bring your horses for a ride. The only way we can continue is if we have many hands to help out.

09.01.2022 QDEC Free Instruction Day Members QDEC has been successful in obtaining grant funding to aid in the development of grass-root riders. We will be hosting an instruction day on Sunday the 21st of February for our members at our grounds in Werris Creek. Local, qualified instructors Karen McElroy and Sally Hawxwell will each be available for 45-minute lessons for 6 riders on this day. Entries will be taken via email only and will be on a first-in, first-served basis. To book a lesson please email your full name, contact number, and horse name to [email protected]. Open to current members. Future dates to be advised.

04.01.2022 The QDEC round 2 members training competition sunday the 23rd of May is now open!! Head online to nominate.com.au to enter. Entries close on the 7th of may.

03.01.2022 We are preparing for wet weather but keeping our fingers crossed that we can all still compete this Sunday at our Round 1 Members training event. A decision will be made by Saturday (tomorrow) at 6pm on our facebook page!!
