24.01.2022 2020 sure has been a different year. Although we are not actually holding our markets on the school grounds, we still are going to do our best to have our first ever Virtual Christmas Market. Our sponsors over the last three years are a huge part of our great success. 19.01.2022 This great Tamworth business joined us last year for their first market experience. We loved having them at our markets and they actually were one of the first to re book for 2020. They are still open and trading, and will be as long as they can! Councils have had to close the parks and playgrounds, including the skateparks, but they urge you to put on your helmet and get out on your bike! Riding can be a fun form of isolation, jump some gutters, ride along the creeks, or b...uild some jumps in your backyard (or front yard!!) Keep on getting rad on your bike, it may help you through these wild times! Although this business is in Tamworth I sure if you needed something they would organise to get it sent to hire home address. Times like this we all need to work together.! 17.01.2022 With the unknown happening and so many things been called off due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) we just want to let our wonderful market holders and sponsors know we have not cancelled our great night. We will keep you updated if we have to cancel our great family night. Although our markets and great Christmas night is in the unknown area at the moment we still want to support our great sponsors and markets holders. Over the next few weeks I will try and update you with stall holders, our wonderful sponsors and just our general community. Although with all the restrictions having a Tupperware party is not in the cards but you can always have a catalogue party or just do a private order. With all the talk of us all going into a lockdown at some time maybe some freezer mates just might come in hand. Remember to support those who support you. 15.01.2022 Hunter Valley Magnesium joined us last year for the first time and had a great night, they travelled from the Hunter Valley to see what our markets were all about. The answer to that question at the end of the night was "see you next year". But with Covid-19 stopping us from having our markets we will have to wait until 2021 to have this great market back with us. A little bit about Hunter Valley Magnesium..... 11.01.2022 2020 sure has been a different year so far. With the restrictions and regulations that are in force due to COVID-19 the Quirindi High School P&C have made the sad decision not to hold the annual Christmas event. But hold on we are not totally cancelling the event. ... We are going to still try our hardest to support the market section of the event. We understand that everyone is struggling in their own way with the restrictions. So if we can help our market holders then we will. It has been decided that we will have a QHS Virtual Christmas Market Weekend. This will take place from Friday night 27th November through till Sunday 29th November. So our market holders will have their links either Facebook, Instagram or web address displayed on this page from the Friday afternoon. You will be able to do your Christmas shopping at your own pace over the weekend. Market holders will have specials and discounts that will only be available over the weekend. So market holders keep an eye on your emails as I will send out information regarding this event. Shoppers keep watching this page as more information will be posted closer to the fun virtual Christmas event. 2020 COVID-19 you will not stop us from our fun market shopping, you are just bringing us together on a different platform. 10.01.2022 Another one of the great outdoor activity's we had last year for the children were the outdoor games. The support that we receive from our local sponsors allows us to provide these games for free for the children that attend the markets. So once again we thank every business house that has previously sponsored or supported out great event in any way. Hopefully in 2021 we will once again be able to offer a great range of free activities for all the little ones.
