23.01.2022 Just gonna drop this here.... feeling pretty impressed with myself this week hand painted Grinch nails, inspired by a pinterest photo brought in by my client. This set is definitely up there with my best work I think, going to cry when i have to file it off

23.01.2022 It's December . Reminder - check your appointments with me. My book is filling out. I still have spaces next week, so you're not out of luck yet, but after that it gets a bit mental. A few reminders coming into the season: I am booking full sets for an hour and a half, refills for an hour. This allows for a short, simple set and clean up time between clients, nothing more. If you want extras, you NEED to let me know in advance, and I will be charging for it. I can give you ...a quote in advance if you have a photo reference, or you can book a time slot and let me do my thing. How fancy you get depends on how much time you book Due to COVID restrictions, salon space is reserved for clients who are receiving a service only. If you come with a friend, the friend will have to wait outside while you get your set done or come back later. I apologise for the inconvenience, but I don't make the rules and the hairdressers will be at full capacity so I only have room for one at s time. I can make exceptions for babies in prams, but nobody else. I take eftpos, cash and bank transfer payments. I do NOT answer messages from 12pm Saturday to Tuesday morning. I'm not being rude, I just need to be able to step away from my job and have a weekend, same as you probably do. I am taking a couple weeks off over the school holidays, so I need my regulqrs to book with me in advance. I will have my official dates up by the end of the day. Yes, I do have gift cards. Thanks for reading my essay, I appreciate it. It's been a hell of a year, but my awesome clients have given me so much support and understanding it's kept me going. Thank you for your continued support, I look forward to enjoying the crazy stories the silly season will bring

22.01.2022 Just to be different, something from today dragon inspired set done in a time crunch, I honestly love the way it turned out . Keep your eyes on this page over the next few days - I'm not saying I've been on Pinterest and intend to post some insane inspiration sets at discount prices for the gratification of my own Halloween obsession...... I'm just saying you might want to watch this space

22.01.2022 I love how many challenges have been brought to me this year. I'm sad that the Halloween season is over. I'm sad that I was so distracted by the turmoil in my personal life that I never got to run the Halloween comp I wanted to do next year.... So this set right? It was a refill. I have gotten to know this client quite well, and I know she loves the fancy sets, so I book extra space for her. This is not just a simple refill, this is an hour of hand painting as well. Are t...here techs out there who could have done it faster? Absolutely. Are there techs who would have done it better? Absolutely. I have always been 100% honest with my level. I have also tried my best to be lenient with my time slots, but I can't do a 2 hour job in an hour. If you WANT something fancy, BOOK for something fancy is what I'm saying here.... I know I am slow with the hand painting, I'm still learning. I'll be posting an album of then and now comparisons soon - thanks to all my awesome clients who volunteered to have me recreate old designs so that I could see my progress, I appreciate it but speed comes with time, I need my work to be GOOD first, speed will follow. So, in conclusion: I know you bunch of mad creatures have been drooling over Christmas nails for weeks already. Please let me know in advance what level of extra you're chasing this year so I can book accordingly

13.01.2022 I'm back returning to normal hours as of today after my much needed break Due to the shift in my childrens schooling, there will be a change in my availability this year. I also have updated price lists and policies coming, so please make sure you're following my page to avoid missing updates. Can't wait to catch up with all my clients, I'm super excited for this year and keen to get back to what I do best - making everyone look and feel fabulous

11.01.2022 Sooo.... Who's keen? I am officially reopening next Tuesday, 19th May. There will be extra precautions in place, not just for my business but because it is also a shared space and restrictions apply to the entire salon. Appointments are compulsory. ... Only one person at a time is allowed at my table - no exceptions. Which unfortunately means no children, no friends Please arrive as close to your appointment time as possible. To comply with Covid-19 restrictions you will not be able to wait inside the salon, if you text/message me when you arrive I will let you know when you can come in. I will NOT be reopening the beauty side of things at this stage as the salon is undergoing renovations and I want to focus on getting everyones nails back on track. However, the hairdressers will be doing waxing and tinting again, they all do a good job, you're welcome to call and book with them but again bookings are essential. I will be making all appointments longer to allow for extra cleaning between clients. If you have ANY signs of sickness, you will be refused service. There will be no cancellation fee if you are sick. My table has been moved to the front of the salon Precedence for appointments will go to people who have already requested a specific space and my regular clients. I'm trying to get everyone back on their normal schedule (eg Wednesday clients back on Wednesdays) My price list is currently unchanged, but there will be a small price increase in a few weeks time on most services. If you are wanting a fancy set, you have to let me know in advance. I am booking enough time for a simple set + thorough clean unless otherwise advised, no exceptions. Thank uou for your patience in these strange and complicated times, I can't wait to see you all again Edit: there are 2 appointments left Saturday 23rd, the rest of that week is now booked out

I have several spaces left on Tuesday, that is all, and if you haven't booked in by the end of my day this Saturday you will not be getting a booking, so please do not wait until the last minute to try and get in - you will be disappointed.

07.01.2022 Inspired by a pinterest photo, this is one of my favourite Christmas sets. Gingerbread men are fun all hand painted by me . I am curreny booked out until next year. I am on holiday from close of business on the 23rd, and will be returning on the 19th of January. I have 3 work days scheduled in between, but those appointments are for the clients who can not be trusted with a 3 week extension and they will be booked by ME. I know it's a long time off, but it's the longest time I've taken since I started this business, and as you all know I have worked through some hectic crap this year. I'm taking that time because I desperately need the break I am taking bookings for January, so you're welcome to claim your spot for when I come back if you haven't already

The longer you're on my books, the better I get to know you.... after over a year with this gorgeous woman, I definitely know her well enough to know how much she wanted this.... and I was right they're glorious
