09.01.2022 What's your favourite Russian choral piece to perform? Northern NSW choir, Dustyesky, is the leading 'genuine fake Russian choir' in the Southern Hemisphere. Overnight, they found themselves become a Russian news sensation. Choral communities are proving themselves a truly powerful mode of connection for people all over the world, (even when they can't rehearse or perform in person). Nice work folks!

09.01.2022 Did you know that QUMS is a community choir open to all? Our major project each semester is to produce a high-quality concert showcasing all of the hard work our members put in. To run these concerts, we rely on ticket sales from our previous performances, hire-a-choir gigs, and fundraising BBQs. Unfortunately, like many organisations involved in the arts, this year's COVID restrictions have led to cancelled concerts and events. This means that we will have more difficulty funding our future projects including the concerts we now wish to run in 2021. If you would like to support our community choir by making a donation to help us get back to performing and doing what we love, please follow the link below

04.01.2022 Did you know that QUMS helped to set a Guinness World Record? Back on Valentine's Day, 2015, we participated in the world's largest busking event with 386 other artists!

03.01.2022 Hi QUMSians! As you've hopefully already heard, Greater Brisbane has a three day lockdown as of 5pm today. This includes QUMS As such, there is NO rehearsal this Wednesday (March 31st). ---------- Eisteddfod people, we're crossing our fingers and figuring things out now.
