18.01.2022 Two teams from The Quorn Bowling Club traveled to Worooka on York Peninsula after Pennant Bowls on Saturday to play in the Worooka Tournament on Sunday. The team of Ted Paynter, Matty Britza and Father & Son Brian & Sol Hartin came second by winning all three games but going down by two points (two ends). Very well done to those four Quorn Bowlers! The second team of Grant Lever, Des Finlay, Lou Walker and Yorktown local & friend Lindsay Palmer won two & lost one but took out a 3 kg cray in the raffle with a dozen Pale Ale as another. A great time was had by all as the photo of Des, Lindsay, Lou & Grant shows.

17.01.2022 Four bowlers from the Quorn Bowling Club went to a tournament in Jamestown today, expecting a great day of bowling and sharing the love of the game of Bowls wit...h like minded people. They didnt expect to win but came home victorious with a score of 110 points, with Ororroo close behind in second place on 108 points. It was an interesting format of firstly a game of fours, then two games of pairs and finally a game of fours to finish off the day. Quorn won three out of the four games to accumulate a winning total. It was 20 points for a win and 2 points for each end won. Congratulations to Ted Paynter, Brian Hartin, Chris Hicks and David Hughes. By the way we won a very large meat tray and a chook in one of the spins on the day. A big Thankyou to all those involved in setting up a great tournament and catering for all the participants. See more

10.01.2022 The Mens Pennant training was a huge success on Saturday 22 September so another one has been organized for Monday 1st October for a 1pm turn up with a 1.30 start time. Ensure you arrive at 1pm so the selectors have time to organize the teams. First Pennants game is a home game for 1st Division on the following Saturday 6 October, with 2nd Division away against E.T.S.A. so its a great chance to hone our skills prior to the season commencing. 10.01.2022 The Mens Pennants Selectors of the Quorn Bowling Club will be selecting the Mens Pennants Teams on Thursday afternoon 4th October so ensure your names are placed in the Available or Not Available side of the teams board to ensure they know who to select from for the first game on 6th October. The Ladies Club Competition started today, 3rd October, and we wish them well for the season.

02.01.2022 A team consisting of: Des Finlay, Lou Walker, Ted Paynter & Grant Lever (Skip) traveled to Laura on Tuesday 5 Feb for the Laura Mens Open 4s Tournament. There... were 28 teams comprising teams from Adelaide, the West Coast, York Peninsual, the Riverlands and the local areas contesting the day, with the Quorn Team coming in at Third place. Well done to another team from Quorn, who are gaining a reputation for not only travelling to other areas and supporting the local clubs, but for consistantly being in the top three placings.
