25.01.2022 Today ten of us meet at the Bicentennial River Park with drink of choice for a most enjoyable catchup and walk. Anyone is welcome to join us for our next walk Friday 4 September at 11am.

24.01.2022 The journey is short An elderly woman got on a bus and sat down. At the next stop, a strong, grumpy young woman climbed up and sat down beside the old woman..., hitting her with her numerous bags. When she saw that the elderly woman remained silent, the young woman asked her why she had not complained when she hit her with her bags? The elderly woman replied with a Smile: "There is no need to be rude or discuss something so insignificant, as my trip next to you is so short, because I am going to get off at the next stop." This answer deserves to be written in gold letters: "There is no need to discuss something so insignificant, because our journey together is too short." Each of us must understand that our time in this world is so short, that darkening it with useless arguments, jealousy, not forgiving others, discontentment and bad attitudes are a ridiculous waste of time and energy. Did someone break your heart? Stay calm. The trip is too short. Did someone betray you, intimidate, cheat or humiliate you? Relax - Don't be Stressed The trip is too short. Did someone insult you without reason? Stay calm. Ignore it. The trip is too short. Did a neighbor make a comment that you didn't like? Stay calm. Ignore him. Forgive that. The trip is too short. Whatever the problem someone has brought us, remember that our journey together is too short. No one knows the length of our trip. Nobody knows when it will arrive at its stop. Our trip together is too short. Let us appreciate friends and family. Let us be respectful, kind and forgiving. Because we will be filled with gratitude and joy, after all Our trip together is very short. Share your smile to everyone.... Our trip is Very Short! Author Unknown

24.01.2022 Quota Bathurst turned their May monthly dinner meeting into a Cancer Council Fundraiser and we were thrilled that 40 women joined our group for the evening. The evening began with a talk from an ovarian cancer survivor followed by dinner, cake cutting and sharing before launching into our monster raffle of 18 prizes all kindly donated by local businesses. All in all it was a fun night and a very successful fundraiser. Thanks to the generosity of all the attendees and the local sponsors we have near $2,500 to give to Cancer Council NSW

22.01.2022 Quota Bathurst are holding this fundraiser in place of Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea. We would love for you to join us.

Average price for this clothing is $5 a piece and all money to pancreatic cancer research.

06.01.2022 We had a very successful stall at the Thrift Market at Greens on William today. A huge thank you to all the workers and those that gave so generously from their winter wardrobes. As a result we have a $760 donation to give to PanKind - The Australian Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.

06.01.2022 Quota Bathurst has again supported Operation Christmas Child by gift filling shoe boxes with toys, hygiene items, school supplies and more. This year we selected 5-9 year old boys to buy for. There are thousands of children who receive a box each year but no child receives more than one in a lifetime. It’s incredible to think there are just so many children who are in need and therefore so deserving of such gifts. If you would like to know more about or be part of a vibrant group of women who do make a difference both within our local community and beyond, then message us, we’d love to hear from you.

04.01.2022 Today Quota delivered 12 boxes of homemade cakes & slices for the staff at Bathurst Base Hospital. This was the first of many deliveries Quota women plan to make for these very much appreciated health workers with in our community.
